My new archer armor

I run an Wraith ABC and after over 2 year of losing his suit have decided it was time to make him a new one.

I am considering either woodland (reforging and enhancing for HCI / DI) or studded leather, using reforging for HCI and the higher LMC. Mana usually isn't an issue with my guy, but thought i would stop by here for some opinions before I started working on it.

HCI: 25 reforged, 5 des quiver, 15 jewels
DCI: 10 slither, 5 garb, 15 jewels (or 30 jewels if you don't like reinforcing)
DI: 50 wepon, 50 jewels

So I see here 4 variants:
1. 5 studded pieces (55 LMC); 50 DI, 15 HCI, 15 DCI on jewels
2 5 metal pieces (45 LMC); 50 DI, 15 HCI, 15 DCI on jewels
3. 2 studded and 3 woodland pieces (45 LMC); 50 DI, 15 DCI on jewels
4. 5 woodland pieces (40 LMC); 15 HCI, 15 DCI on jewels

You can get 40 SSI on a composite bow (imbue + ash enhancing), so you will need 20 SSI on jewels. It is not difficult to get "10 SSI, -100 luck, 8 stat" jewels and add DI + DCI/HCI, so you needn't use woodland pieces. I would prefer to go with 5 plate pieces to reduce stamina loss (with low karma you can't use DF for stats, with 2h weapon you can't use refresh potions, in a Wraith form you can't keep distance).
As usual I suggest to reinforce physical, fire, energy (reinforcing all 5 resists is too expensive).

It's been a while since I've played him, but I rarely use any necro spells other than Wraith (only run 40 necromancy/100 SS). So, negative/low karma isn't much of a concern. His template is:

120 Anatomy (10 from jewelry)
120 Archery
120 Bushido
120 Chivalry
40 Necromancy
100 Spirit Speak
120 Tactics (10 from jewelry)

Cost isn't an issue. His original suit that I lost was a woodland suit made before the forged metal of artifacts. I have plenty of refinements that I have been farming from champs, t-maps and ships.

I like the idea of dropping DCI for resist... I feel that is best for this template.

I like plate as well... just wondering if the extra LMC would make that much of a difference or if the bonus of the woodland armor (HCI / DI) is too much to pass up. It was nice getting 100 DI from armor/jewelry.

I haven't much experience of playing in Wraith form so I don't know how you can survive without Cursed Weapon.
Wraith archer can't use DS.
I think 40-45 LMC is enough.

I've found that confidence and close wounds is enough to stay alive. I didn't use him to solo much, other than stuff that I could kill in a couple of hits.

DS = Double Shot in this case.

If you play in a party I'd suggested to get 215 stamina to maximize your damage output.

The woodland piece is good for a fencer but for an archer I'd prefer to get 8 LMC instead of HPI or Res.

Yeah, being in wraith form removes the ability to use DS. I think if I was going to do something that I needed to be mounted for, I'd stone necro/SS and toss on maybe focus.

To get to 210+ stamina, I'd have to reforge each piece for Stam/Dex?

10 stamina on 6 armor pieces and SI+SSI on jewels.
I have never tried this myself but I believe you can do it with Copper runic without Powerful. But I think there is a sense to try get pieces 10 SI + 4/5 HCI with Bronze/Golden runic (test it on TC).
You will need to put HLD on your main bow (that hasn't super slayer). 48 HML, 40 SSI on a bow and 15 SSI on jewels.

Eh, I use repeating crossbow for double shoot instead of a yumi.
It has less range, but it is bloody fast so you don't need as much stamina to 1.25 it.

Edit: It is double strike, actually, so you don't have to be mounted to use it, which is even better!
