My First VP Battle

Hi all,

My toon is up to 100 laff points but I have not attempted the Sellbot VP yet, I guess I am a bit imtimidated. I have read the notes but I would love some help. What is the best way. I have heard about the Cold Callers Guild from this website, but I don't know how to get ahold of them.

Welcome to Toontown Stratics! We have a VP run happening tonight. Check the events calendar for more info. As for the CCG... they're from another site, but I'm sure you could get help there too. Google is your friend.

Hi Trish,

I checked out the calendar but saw nothing for today. Is there a secret?

I personally think you are better off going with Stratics. CCG doesn't shuffle BUT they also don't try to make an even load like we do. Stratics VPS do 4 maxed gag HWs on the left and 4 of any other on the right. All 8 load and go. With CCG once you load you can't unload. It's against the rules. While shuffling is bad most of the time, it is nice to go in with a level playing field. I did CCG twice. Each time we loaded only to find myself with all low suits and no decent gags. I swore off any CCG activities from then on.

This is a great group. Chances are high that you will have a successful VP. No guarantees but it's in your favor. Just remember to jump when the VP does or he takes 10 laff off of you. Try pie throwing from far away at first from the front or run to the back and try from there. I prefer going to the back and stunning. You don't get the earthquake type damage that he can only do from the front. Either way, the VP is the easiest battle around and you will do fine.

The calendar does have it on there. It says beanfest, vp, cfo, cj. It all starts at 7pm ET. Read the calendar for more info.

I just double checked, it was there. Unfortunately, it's going on now. :( Next week!

Welcome to Stratics. Hope to see you at the next event. We also run an SOS shopping of friday night but that might throw a few too many variables into the first VP run.
