Multi-boxing

I've been thinking about taking advantage of the refer a friend experience and setting up a 2nd account to level 2 characters with using dual boxing.

What are your guys thoughts on this? I know Blizzard is perfectly ok with it, but doesn't it seem kind of like cheating?

IT seems cheating to me but as you said blizz is fine with as long as they are on different accounts..

and the RAF xp bonus is huge and so easy to lvl..

i would take advantage of this but i really dont want to waste my money and all my friends already play...

..and i guess i will never get that zebra mount ( which is my fav animal :sad4: )

but yeah go for it but to actually multi box you will need a program or something to link your buttons to each other or you can /follow but prob will be harder to do.

Im Cool with you...you gotta pay twice then go ahead...if tere was a way to multi-box without paying for 2 accounts hen it would be considered cheating to me

My opinion:
If one likes to fly between two computers (or more) to keep an eye out on multiple characters, go right ahead!
I mean, one would have to pay twice as much (or more), and it's not like you leave them to fend for themselves while you go have a coffee, you still need to control them.

I don't feel like doing it myself, though ;)

I personally have multi-boxed. It's quite a bit of $$$, but totally worth it. I, also, recently recruited 2 RL friends into WoW( Zebra x2 :) ) and honestly, getting lvl 20 in like 3 hours is so sweet.

If you have a nice enough Computer you dont have to use to comps

I've never used 2 computers to box...I can run the game twice on mine..it's not an EA game that requires you to jump through hoops to do it...you just run 2 and put your boxed toons on follow.

It does kinda seem like cheating to me but then I think well if that person wants to pay for more then 1 account every month then what do I care if they do it since I find it so fun to find 5 boomkins and Seed them =D.


Games are all about having fun, and if you enjoy having more then 1 guy going on a the same time more power to you. I lean toward the RP side a little and like to think as my toon as a hero, and when there is only 1 of me i am more heroic.
