The last Wizard magazine has a great listing of movie projects and their status.
I did see alot of interesting ones.

Game - some kind of game like UO or WOW where the controlled char's think they are normal people, not realizing they are controlled by an outside user.

Everquest - I think this one is just a live action of the game

WOW - same as everquest

Land of the Lost - Will Ferrill version of the sleestack land

I couldnt find anything on their website about the new movies... but they do have an interview with Tim Kring from heroes about how bad he screwed up season 2 and what he is trying to do to fix it for season 3

I read in the newspaper that they are coming out with The Hobbit in 2010 and Peter Jackson is directing it.

Jackson will be the executive producer, not director. However, I am sure it will have his hallmark stamped all over it. And it will be released as two films in consecutive years.
