Most recent back to brit, and the house I placed on it.

I placed a house while on the back to brit promotion.

I recently made a trial account, to see a friends new Luna house. Since I had the trial account going, I decided to run around and see who still had houses, and poke around. I had completely forgotten I placed this house.

Its still standing.

As you can see, its marked CLEARLY that it was placed on a back to brit promotion account. This should have fallen months ago.

Not really sure where I'm going with this thread. I guess I wanted to show the people who are frustrated with these types of houses that their frustrations aren't unfounded.

The Dev team seems to just be completely incapable of taking care of these houses.

it was my understanding that this bug was fixed, having "learned their lesson" from the back to brit promotion before the one i placed this house on.

that's actually why i placed the house to begin with. to see if they actually did fix it.

In UO bug fix times can be counted in decades soon probably, so a few months is nothing.

My house from one of the first return programs is also still standing and I am confident that it will stay until the servers close down.

Because they put it there. If not then leave it. it was there choice. no one forced them to get a house. If they really want it out of the way then give EA some cash to help EA and take it down.
Besides I doubt it was his house. If it was mines I be jumping for joy that i have another house instead of trying to get it demolished. That just would be illogical.

I quit UO ages ago.

I came back for the back to brit promo.

At the time there was debate on whether or not the Dev's had fixed this bug.

I placed this house to test if they actually did fix this bug or not.

this is a follow up post, confirming they did not.

I honestly don't care that its standing. Its just a foundation. as you can see from the screen cap.

First, Blesh never said anything about WoW, or any other game for that matter. Second, she never compared UO to anything. Third, blame the Devs for the fact that the house is still standing, because it's them that have failed to fix the BtB and other houses that should have fallen years ago but are still standing today, taking up server space. I have no idea why you all have a vendetta towards WoW players.

I didn't make this thread to tell you how much better WoW's customer service is. I didn't even mention WoW. Other people did.


I will say that the attitude I've gotten in this thread makes me incredibly happy I quit UO.

I won't pay for UO, for my own reasons. reasons that we wont get into here. If curiosity really gets to you, feel free to PM me and I'll tell you in a private forum.

While I won't pay for UO, I do care about UO. I care about my friends who still play it. I keep in touch via the Legends forum. I keep in touch via instant messenger.

She still has friends that play, and maybe she does still care about the game? Just because she doesn't play doesn't mean she can't be helpful to the game.

If you think like an adult, then it explains a lot about why the world is the way it is. She never complained about anything. She was giving proof that the BtB houses were still broken. She never complained about it. Others, who actually do play the game, have been complaining about it. Now they have proof thanks to Blesh that these houses aren't falling and there needs to be a fix.

Firstly thanks for posting blesh... you know these boards well enough to know that there will be one or two morons who will dive in to flame without any justification...

Anyhoo... The point is, this is yet another bug which can't be that difficult to fix. There must be hundreds of these houses still standing across the shards. I wouldn't be surprised if ea keeps them standing to help mask how low subs are these days.
