I have tons of blackrock.I am keeping it cuz something might come of it.I am just curious.Did I miss a chance to turn it in for something earlier?

there was a turn in last year in Haven right before it blew up. they gave away alot of aggy hammers , verite hammers, tok dyes( the metal colors) Toks, Peerless ingredients, and some other stuff

Recently, there have been numerous hints about some sort of turn-in event, but not one damned specific date or item has been included in said hints.

I have a box full of bits too.. and am watching the news very carefully for details about blackrock pieces.

Where are you minning at to get blackrock. T2a, Fel, Ilishner, where at?

I believe it can show up from anywhere. I chunked up 3 pieces last night in a relatively short period of time (no BRE's *whew!*) from Fel, but I've gotten them in Tram.

My best luck for Blackrocks is Fel then Ish, well come to think about, those are the only places i mine.

I just reached 100 mining an hour ago. Regarding Blackrock, is the consensus that blackrock spawns more frequently in Felucia than in Malas, Trammel?

QUESTION: Once I've mined blackrock from a certain area, is that area likely to produce blackrock again if I revisit it 30 min. later or so after the ore has respawned?

I can confirm Fel and Malas.

I have tried T2A for an entire day and uncovered no blackrock there.

Also I have never gotten blackrock at the same spot again after respawns in that same location.

For some reason I thought digging up blackrock is random and not depending on where you mine ... must have missed something.

Did the devs ever give any information about this?

like everything in the game, you have a 'random' chance of getting blackrock at any given spot... however, given that the random number generator in the game has questionably worked for 10 years the 'odds' of you getting blackrock in the SAME spot are slightly better than not.

There is no proof of this other than random observation and a given track record spanning back to the beginning of time.
