Mobile bars background?

Is there a way in the default EC to change the background of your targeted mobile on the "mobiles" bar?



I have 1 of these selected but at a glance it's near impossible for these old eyes to tell which.
I'd like to change it somehow in the default EC without having to download another client or mod/add-on.

I messed with it for a bit, but unfortunately I think it's not possible without a mod. FYI the background is actually an animation and it is set to be slightly transparent (40%). It's a bit better on 100%. A mod should be trivial, so let me know if you need help.
