Well that really sucks. They already have things dropping the ML Ingreds, why add an additional way?
Oh that's right, too many people griping they can't kill a peerless to get them. I would hate to know I played a "social" game and was SOOO antisocial I could not gather a few friends or folks to actually kill something as a group.
They drop inside a box with fabled nets on the monsters sometimes.
i've never ever gotten an Ancient SOS to get a fabled net with. That 'about 1 in 25 SOS are Ancient' is a load of used puppy chow. I'm wondering if they forgot to add a few zeros to that 25. :gun:

With on average 1 mib out of 25 beeing an asos and only sometimes a white net throw rewarding with a chest with peerless reags, it is a lot time spend before you actually see one.
Btw i got beeing told that those chest even were within the high seas beta. Would be more interesting, if you could get them from throwing any nets and not only the fabled ones.

Ive had runs where 150 mib dont give me and Asos, but ive also had runs, especially since high seas came out where i get about 3 Asos outta every 30 or so MiBs.

You realy don't want to throw white nets alone with the big chance that Osiredon the Scalis Enforcer appear. And he takes a lot more people then when you go to peerless .

Is it too hard for you people to understand that many CRAFTERS (not just popps) were the ones wanting ML ingredients to spawn?
...that when a poll was done on UO Craftsman, those in favor of such drops from T-maps was running about 6 to 1 in favor, with primarily the forum regulars voting, until some of you found out about the poll and voted? (and still ended up the majority in favor for some form of these drops)
As easy as it is to have fun at popps' expense, even a broken clock is right twice a day, and this was one of those circumstances.
Tell me, how often are you using those 6-property T-map chest items? Or those surge shields? Runed Sashes??? 6 essence or other imbuing ingredient- which takes longer, farming in the abyss for 6 of the one you want, or doing level 6 maps into you blunder into 6 of the one you need?
As long as the net boxes don't include the boss-specific items, this is a good thing, though perhaps a bit too little (being white net only, and the difficulty of getting a white net, and avoiding scalis).
Oh, yeah - 3 months later, STILL no Taint for sale on my shard, and the soloable peerless areas bugged to where the entire party get frozen for up to a minute, everyone often having to restart the client, leading to a total party kill even if you went in with 6 people and 3 Greater dragons against mel or dread. (this has happened 4 of the last 10 peerless I've attempted; no two of us in the party were in the same state, let alone on the same ISP)
