Miss Siege

The Miss Siege beauty pageant, a contest to find the most desirable lady on the shard, is an idea that I came up with a few years back but had never got around to running. The event would require a fair amount of organization and would involve bringing in an independent team of judges from off-shard. This could be good publicity for Siege if we have a decent turnout, but equally would not look good if only four-five people enter.

So before I post details or anything more official I would like a show of hands as to who may be interested in entering such a contest. I really want a minimum of eight and preferably more like ten to twelve.

Event start time would likely be 3pm-5pm Eastern (8pm-10pm UK) Saturday or Sunday at the back end of May.

And in yur Sigel, below the Legendary Tailor words is what appears to be a (maybe) roll of cloth. It also amazingly looks like a porto potty chair we keep for camping (and if its a roll of cloth then ewwwww).

Well the last *beauty pagent* any of my female chrs. were in was some yrs. ago in Iantown. All the lovely ladies were present and in competition. If I recall it was also beauty pagent and combo best dressed as an extra event in the event.

At any rate the lovely ladies as Patty Pickaxe and Skylark and Mrs. Ru were all there and many other lovely ladies.

Unfortunately Queen Zen feels beauty pagents are for *commoners* not royalty so she never enters.

But Miranda did enter...unfortunately she doth not grasp the concept of *best dressed* nor beauty...for when all the other ladies vieing for best dressed and beauty all showed up lookin marvelous, Miranda showed up in a *clown suit* dressed immaculately matching the outfit of a famous person known as the 'Imanewbie cartoon'. Miranda, did win a prize though in gp even, that evening in Iantown, for being the only peculiar female, dressed most humorously cute and WEIRD and UNIQUE, or something silly like that !

Once a class clown always a class clown, I guess !
I doth not think my gal toons, fathom the concept of *BEAUTY* ! LOL

That said I nominate, Sire Lord Doive as Miss Siege ! lol
We just need to assist him to color co ordinate his hair-do, with his dresses colors a tad better, in time for this wonderous pagent !

Hmm, that is the general idea. But I guess one or two at most "transgendered" entrants would be allowable.

Reminds me of the Siege Lady's Night when Pappy Joe turned up in a bright pink dress, and spent the rest of the night dying in a wide and occasionally strange variety of ways. Ahh, good times!

The Iantown event had a separate pageant for the guys too. There were different categories in the pageants, it was a lot of fun as I recall.

It seems we have enough interest to go ahead with this and I will post a sign-up thread shortly. I was thinking of Sunday 15th May at 3pm Eastern (8pm UK) for the event.

Hoffs, didn't want to clutter up the sign-up thread with this question, but where is this being held or are you keeping the location secret until the last minute? I'm probably not going to make it (too many other family things going on that day), but if I can jump on for a few minutes I'd like to stop by and just see how it's going.
