I have been killing exodus minions with my archer for these basically open all doors let them flag then wildfire and lightning arrow the heck out of them. Works well but drop rate is crappy. i saw a post saying people kill masters for a good drop rate?? Are these the super baddies in the 'invasion' area? ?? If so I had a go against them last night and it seemed to take ages to kill one. Not sure if I can use respond slayer (didn't have one on me) against the humans but bret the archer was a pain in the butt. Do you guys kill slayer vulnerable ones or should I be using my sampire or my mystic fencer (still in training) thanks guys and gals.

There is no slayer type for the masters. Use Honor + EOO to get damage bonus. 5-10 masters per hour is a good kill rate. You get 2 artifacts from each master.
Sampire is not good for this place because some of masters have tainted aura. ABC archer does pretty well and Melee Archers does even better.

Tactics is very different against different masters so post which one made you problems.
Also always check master's resistances by a normal hit and choose between AI and DS depending on results. When a master has low res it has 3x more HP. DS does 2x more damage (compared to AI) in this case so you still be able to kill it fast.

Thanks. Was just the archer that i tried who was a pain. I'll try later and use EoO then just kite with my archer. Can drop in a few WOD when health gets low. I not got melee archer just chiv SW Archer. I'll see how it goes. Thanks.

You know the tainted aura? Is it just life leech it cripples or does it kill mana leech too? Ta

It makes life leach damages you instead of healing. It doesn't affect mana leach.

50 HLD on a bow helps against masters with blocking ability

I suggest to get 50 HLD, 48 HML, 40 SSI on a composite bow (also DI and HSL).

Between town bonus and my suit i got 40 ssi so will get away without it on bow I think with 180 stamina. I got hld on mace and shield but will still put on bow so it higher. Was thinking di, hsl, hml, hld and hit spell like fire orlightning. Will see how Iit goes.

30 HLD on a helm is not enough when you use ranged attack against monsters with high block (macer, swordsman).
You usually want 60 SSI to have 1.5sec even with 150 stamina. When you fight something like wizard it's almost impossible to upkeep 180+ stamina (if you have 190 max).
Hit spell pretty useless on a composite bow. If monster has high res it does very small damage, if monster has low res you use Yumi for DS.

I checked ssi call before I made it luckily lol. Added 20 ssi with40 on su it keeps me at 1.5. Hld, hml, ssi, di and hsl is what I decided on. Made a yumi too. Think I need to finish off char before I hit these. I took out a mace last night but with the teleport thing it did and face that I still got healing and chiv In 70's meant it was a close run thing. Once char his finished I think I will be ok. Attunement, gift of renewal and DEATH PIXIES really helped. Kept pixies out as an irritant and to keep curses up etc. Still had a lot of fun but took me like 35 Mins to kill 2 hehe. Spawn wipe up was fun though. Really enjoyed the whole thing. Having missed the invasions it was fun in the bubble version.
