I want to know how to kill miasma.
I'm a tamer
It's seem notso difficult but normally it poison me and i die for this posison. My pet is poisoned by it and it dies with that poison.
Please, a tamer like me how can kill it?
The poison is the way thet it kills me
How can avoid his poison?

A really fast way to kill miasma is with a sampire if you happen to have one. Tamers are a bit more annoying way but doable. Stand a few tiles back from your pet and do not move around as miasma will auto tab you a lot of times.

Bring enchanted apples, which will break the effect of Mortal Strike and allow you to use Arch Cure/Cleansing Winds to get rid of the poison. Cleansing Winds can also break mortal on both yourself and your pet, but less reliably than the apples. After you're cured, invis yourself to break aggro and let your pet take over.

use a greater dragon, then you don't have to heal it as much(2-4 miasmas for mine), and just hang out, cast protection on yourself so you can cast thru the poison damage

You have to stand a few tiles away from where it spawns around the way is usually pretty good.
Then you send pet after it call back your pet and then attack it again

Im a human tamer so I have joat chiv so I can remove curse and then heal the pet when it get mortal wounded which happens like all the time.

This also give you time to loot when the next one spawns and you can wait a bit until you start to fight again.

The fastest way I've found to kill miasma are:
Archer - xbow slayer w/140 to 269 damage each hit
Sampire - diamond mace slayer or rune blade slayer w/93 to 189 damage each hit
Disco/Tamer - Greater Dragon and discord - you need to drag miasma out of the spawn area though if you want to loot, else you will probably get targeted

For melee characters, 100% fire damage weapons or Consecrate Weapon spell.
It takes longer to loot than to kill it.

If you can do it with 2 people a Mage(a stealth mage works best) and Tamer W/GD it is pretty easy. Have your Tamer with a GD set back and wait for miasma to spawn while the mage casts 2 EVs--miasma will attack the EVs (EVs will attack miasma) then send in GD for the quick Kill. If you have Disco the kill is even quicker. You just have to make sure the EVs are constantly replaced as miasma spawns super fast. If the EVs are not there, miasma will attack you/GD first. Have mage loot away while GD and EVs are killing miasma. In a half hr I can usually get 6 or more chests doing this. I have only died once doing this because we let the EVs time out OOOoOooOO...

My Sampire can kill miasma solo in no time at all with slayer Weap, but she spawns so fast there is no time to loot--so again having a 2nd person to loot while someone else is killing is highly advised.

Man, just take in any old piece of crap mage and drop EV's. Stay back from Miasma, and have invis ready in case you get targeted, you can farm it all day long. I would suggest a bag of sending as you will quickly be overweight from the gold. If you have another char you can bring to pick the chests, great, you do not have to carry the rest of that dead weight around with you.

Checklist:
-70 poison resist on suit?
-2/6 cast speed?
-Are you using a mage weapon in hands, or a spellbook?
-Invis macro?
-GCure pots for yourself?
-Have any confusion pots?

When you get poisoned there is a window before the poison starts in which you can invis, then cast cure on yourself (if you do it fast enough) before it starts ticking.

Number one problem I find with most PvM tamers is they use spellbooks or non-defensive items in their hands, which means they will get hit 100% of the time. Also note that DCI is worthless unless you have at least 38 weapon skill or equivalent.

I use to do this all the time on my tame with a beetle and mare. Take the beetle out of the stable first to make sure that it is the main target. Bandage the pet, use chiv to remove mortal and farm all day.

I've since moved onto a sampire and the tames has collected dust since.

Thanks for all suggestion but:
1) i have 70 in all resistence.
2) Arch cure doesn't work ( maybe i have to eat an apple before?)
3) Miasma is very quick and i don't make anything before it poison me again.
4) I have to heal and cure my GD ( i have 120 of vet) but if i am visible miasma target me

G.v.P i use a boomstick that has mr 3 and fast recover 1. Another fast recover is on my brace. I need my magery. I can't use a mage weapon. Greater cure potions are useless with the poison of miasma. I have a GM alchemy then i know that my potions are strong. But not for that poison.
I have to try confusion potions and try to make a invis macro.

And I'll try to use all tricks that all you have sayd to me.

it sounds like she is targetting you while you are trying to loot a previous corpse

i drag her out of the grass area to the entrance, target her with dragon then "all follow me" to entrance then target her again, pet will kill her, you can loot and sort, then go back in and target the next one

and do the same, as long as you target her quick and drag her out you should be fine

remember to have protection cast, so if she does target you, cast invis quick, then set pet on her!

Where does that number come from if you don't mind me asking?

Well, 38 works two ways, actually. If you have 0 wep skill/wrestling (ie most PvM spellbookers) and you have 45 DCI, the DCI doesn't help you against any creature that has 38 or more wrestling skill. In other words, you'll still get hit 100% of the time by anything you don't want to get hit by. Since a Miasma has about double that in wrestling, a Miasma has more than enough to hit you 100% of time even if you have 45 DCI (unless you have JOAT working for ya). And if you had 38 wrestling, with 45 dci, there would be a 29% chance of not getting hit by something with 100 wrestling, while Miasma would hit you only a little more than half the time, which is fairly significant. Although, it would be odd for someone to use 38-50 wrestling, hehe.

Do you have a Swords of Prosperity or something like that? A mage weapon like that takes away 0 magery skill and would help on your defense . Sounds like you might need to also obtain 6 faster cast recovery and 2 faster cast total on suit as well (-0 mage weps add FC 1). If you don't have max cast it will be harder to react to attacks.

If you have protection cast, faster casting will not work.

My suggestion is to have protection and cast invis. That will break the agro and focus back on pet, but it will allow you to heal the pet...just be ready to invis again if it targets you.
