... and join in our playstyle.


We used the same name and apperance (and wraith form) so we would counter the targetting scripts... we saw how it helped us several times... when in the middle of being raided, one of our foes just stood there... dead on the water... (and 4xflamestriked+lightning=dead)
Eventually those players stopped raiding and fighting us... (irony there was... their scripts and lack of pvp skill got them killed)




I was expecting alot of bashing on this thread... instead I got more people joining than opposing posts... I'm surprised.

The problem with this is that many of your alliance consist of the above. They raid when others are spawning, they pk, and they also are amongst the most foul mouthed individuals in public chat I have encountered in this game. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have a double standard.

I don't think its the idea that anyone has a problem with. Its the half-truths and hypocrisy and behavior of some said members and alliances that makes the whole idea laughable. Do as I say not as I do... etc. etc.

Keep in mind also that the Circle Alliance is a separate entity from factions, although we have a number of members in each. The Alliance system does not allow non-faction and faction guilds within the same structure.

I cannot speak for the PvP side, except to say PvP has its own culture which is not limited to any one group.

Some are still adapting to this new playstyle... and to the no-foul language in ventrillo... (with children in vent, they have no choice but to adapt or use the adult password protected room aka rage room)

Everyone in DRI is aware of our task ahead... we made sure that all those that would not follow our rules moved somewhere else...

We still respect them as players... we still enjoy their companionship in vent... even if they are in opposing factions...

Nastia, as I've said before on the Catskills boards and I'll say again here, if you really have a legitimate complaint against Alliance members, you are welcome to send me their names. I'll look into it. If you have no legitimate complaints, of course that is quite another matter.

If you claim a double standard and yet are unable or unwilling to provide concrete evidence, that doesn't support your opinions.

And as I said before on the Catskills boards, Alliance members generally do NOT use the public chat system. We use alliance or guild chat to communicate. We keep our chat system free of obscenities. That is one of the few Alliance-wide rules we expect all members to follow.

Furthermore, since no guild tags show in Public Chat, how can you be certain to which group(s) these alleged foul mouthed individuals belong, if any?

Let's see. Catlord has been advertising the DRI faction guild whom I fight against on an almost nightly basis. They are allied with several TB guilds. I know their names seeing as I pull their bars to I can fight them. This alliance may not be officially "allied" with the non-faction alliance because that is not possible in UO any longer. The fact remains that those people and your people are allied. You really can not say they are a separate entity when you utilize these people for your ends. It is one thing to have reds and faction players defending your blues when they are spawning (all the while demonizing those that raid you and what not). It is an entirely different story to use the reds and blues and faction players to raid another guild. This is the double standard I speak of. Spawn, raid, pk, do whatever it is you wish, but own up to it (smoke and mirrors from your group not mine). Stop advertising that you don't raid and don't pk, because you (maybe not you personally but your associated members) do. If you can't speak for the pvp side, then quit attempting to do so.

Lately any attempt to post to show the outright lies is met with warnings and posts being removed. You cannot mention names on the forums. So all this "post what you know and prove it" is just talk to try to make it look like you are lying. Meanwhile I highly suggest not using any other method of contact as I have been threatened with hacking by people they are associating with. (I do have chat logs and ICQ logs to back this)
Either way its all pointless drama.
No one spawns on any shard without a chance of being raided. It's part of the game. A fun part at that.
I suggest ignoring the hypocrisy of the "its bad to raid but we do it but we will try to defame and make other ppl look bad for doing it" and just play some UO. Put them all on ignore like I do and move on. No one really cares about them anymore, they are a non-factor in pvp and the most we ever get out of them is some of them shooting at us from the house in Yew on their stealth archers.
I mean, have they raided any of your people? Really? None of mine have lost a spawn to them. (possibly why the big recruitment move is being made)

I don't assist in bad press... You can tell by my history on Catskills that I attempt to bring the community together and host fun events for everyone. I was targeted as a individual, that extended to my guild as a whole even though they RARELY pvp, by your guild and associates for three reasons..

-I allied a guild you don't like who pvp's and raid's you...
-I showed up all by my noobie lonesome to take part in some pvp for personal fun and game enjoyment. (I do this often even with my own friends, we fight each other in fel because we are on different sides, and we go right back to chit chatting and hanging out.)
-I told Pitr I didn't agree with how he was doing what he was trying to do...

Then all of a sudden my vendors are "sanctioned" and my PUBLIC auctions are "sanctioned" by you and yours. (sanctioned meaning they strongly advise their members to not buy from my guild or participate in our events as a economic way of purging the community of scum. (Loosely translated Pitr remark.)
And I'm pretty much just sitting here like.. um?? ok?

While I could point out dozens upon dozens of flaws in the "underdog" method Pitr is trying to implement, I'll refrain for now. (speaking out against this "alliance" on stratics has proven to "tick off" certain stratics "betterthanyous")

I do find irony in all of it tho for the simple fact that Pitr role plays a "cat/feline". Never have I seen a catdog besides on the cartoon.

I know you were not referring your statements to me, however, lets be fair....

http://my.uo.com/cgi-bin/guilds.pl?g=b4219816512a1d3e:8 this is GRI and a lot of them come to fel including their allies on blues. This is the none faction "circle" and they work with DRI.

And here we have... http://my.uo.com/cgi-bin/guilds.pl?g=84156f6c7c62ef89:8 DRI. Smaller, less allies, and faction version of GRI.

ALL of which have worked together in many many places. SO as you can see with both guilds AND their allies... there's a lot more then 29 people. Even if half don't pvp.

I'm also around the world's finest lawyers daily so things like "due diligence" "full disclosure" and "consistency" are part of my blood and bones. When I see things that don't add up, I point them out. No bashing, no hating.

I have never said you are not allowed to raid, I have never said you are not allowed to PK, never said you cannot spawn. As a matter of fact, I welcome it. Makes things more entertaining. But when you advertise, give the people the truth and let them decide.
