Medusa...

I have been doing medusa and have had some dissappointing results. I have killed 36 myself and another 20 or so more and have yet to recieve any artifacts save 2: Petrified snakes and stone dragons tooth, and they always drop in pack, not on corpse. I must have 15 of each.
has anyone else had the same experience?

Its just like doing any other peerlesss. I remember doig Mels. Probalby did 100 of em over a month and got jack crap. Then one week you would get a crimson and two blaze dyes....


Its so random...but that's what keeps us there!

true to that, not surprised i havent gotten more, but Im also wondering why the multitude of drops consitsting of only the 2 gargoye artifacts I mentioned.

The drop rate is so low that I just stopped doing it. Not to mention the time wasted on making gorgon lens. Even Slasher is more fun.

Yep agreed, on Europa our guild take on Medusa alot and we seem to get many many drops, but all stone dragon tooth and petrified snakes

we have however got 2 tiles and a statue drop and a few SoT, but it is a poor ratio to the amount we do

i think also we have had 2 arti drops on her corpse storm callers i tihnk, but we must have done 70/100 odd Medusa runs

Bearing in mind i understand she can drop many dif types of artis, i was wondering if the drop system was broken, only dropping the tooth and snakes artis

Ah yes after about 60 plus killing her i did get the statue...

As for the dragons tooth and snake staff, there sort of mini artie.....unravel them to make relic frags....but do it at the queens forge or its 50/50 chance only if you do at home...


But the slasher is alot more fun...just find some willing bait to help..

my buddy has done about 100 for a statue and all he has are those petrified tooth things , those reptile killers and one venom. I am surprised they did not bump the drop rate when they bumped Narvey

We should see at least more SoTs dropping off her after new publish I think. They say they tweaked the Navrey Drop but I think they mean that they are tweaking the SoTs across the board. I do more stygian dragon myself because its so easy to solo, and theres a few human type arties that already drop off him, more to come after publish

Drop rate sucks, but at least it makes it somewhat nice when you get the floor deed or the statue. Don't want them to be like the liche spawn items, which everyone pretty much has.

I think its fine lol. I guess I'm lucky, I have done 6 or 7 alone and on the second to last one I got the Statue and then on the last one I got Slither. Can't complain I guess. I would like the floor deed though lol.

I'm somewhat curious as well... I've three maned it, but solo... Unless it was made weaker than it was during release?
