Me, Petra, and Diablo

Hi All,

You may call this a cry thread or a help thread.

I placed like 35 blackrock and steaks in Petra mailbox yesturday. Today she talks to me in chat and I go to her house to arrange some cooking chores. She opens the door and I go in to talk... Gate opens and Diablo pops out, runs into the open door, and trys to kill me inside her house. Diablo fails, and fails big, I escape. Petra is revealed inside and D kills her. Then loots her dry including her cooking Tally, armor, and misc mule tools. He returned nothing.

Only asking for support by not selling to or playing/PvPing with Diablo. Please if you see him do not sell to him (not like anyone does, he's crying in chat everyday and no one helps him out).

I was one of his biggest defenders but no more. He's burnt his welcome out on EVERY shard and is full of hate. I will do nothing to help him or defend him anymore.

Killing Petra is the same as bragging about killing Gwendar of the JSV alliance.

He sold her it back, minus whatever he thought he deserved for 250k, I payed Petra 250k afterwards. Please just let him go away and leave our shard. Again don't sell and bann him from vendor houses.

how many times do we have to remind people this is siege you shouldnt use gen. chat for meeting and when you die its not yours it go to the person who kills you or what ever they choose to do with it

Sooo, you'd defend someone who did many things outside of the game rules that we're all aware of, and the second he acts within the rules and kills someone due to a foolish error, NOW you blacklist them? I have no problem with him doing this, this is part of the game.

I highly doubt petra took it personally like you did, she's been killed many times before and note that there's no complaints here on the forum.

It just took D this long to finally burn me too. He burned me by taking my trust and trashing it for the joy of the game. Some things are decided by a moral judgement, something that I know you don't understand as playing a type of char that you do. I've had access to his accounts to work his tamers up, never took so much as a band-aid from him. MANY things in the game you can do, but doesn't mean you have too. How many times have we heard about bug and said "No, i wont do that, thats cheating" and not "those stupid programmers made a mistake so I have every right to take advantage of it"?.

And No, Petra doesn't and won't complain. I asked her why she helps him and I kicked myself so hard in the teeth with that remark it dazed me. I was his biggest supporter and defender and then BAMM this.

Final point is I've been burned now by him and I'm also on the "Rid my Shard of Diablo" bandwagon. Please help by simplely "Blacklisting" (as you termed) sales from him. I'd say drop him but thats more PvP action which he only cares about, just leave him be and let him move on.

Someone was PKed and lost some replaceable junk. Are you aware this happens a lot in games? It's intended because it's part of the game.

I was at fault for returning too soon. When Diablo first ran in, I hit the teleporter to our other house, but then I foolishly returned when I thought I'd allowed enough time for him to leave.
I had already started to replace my stuff when he offered to sell back what he had looted. The price was reasonable and I knew there was stuff I'd forgotten I had, so I agreed.

On a side note, I'm interested in buying a spare cooking talisman. It's the only one I don't have a spare of, I was wearing it at the time because I'd been cooking blackrock stew. Normally I put my talis away in a chest when not in use.

Hes not even that good at UO though. Ever seen him 1v1 mage? Its terrible.

Bout the only thing he knows how to do is find a tunnel, cast a wall, say all kill and heal with protection on. That and get into stupid peoples heart strings so he can steal all there ****.

I was unfortunate enough to be in a guild with him on Atl for a week or 2. I heard him damn near cry in vent and 2 days later steals one of his best friends accounts.

He should be put up for study at a university for shrinks.

So? Welcome to Siege! This is why we DON'T play Prodo...the increased danger element. I know you were expecting to easily rally support against Diablo, as he is loathed by many, but this comes across as pure emotion, and there's no reason to ban him or push him away for this. Would you feel better if he did all this under the guise of a disguise kit or incognito?

I personally don't have a problem with Diablo, because I'll never allow him to be more than a character in a game...seems to me the character is just living up to his namesake. I think it is a funny story, actually...

The only disappointing part is that he used a dread mare instead of skill.
