Map help?

I don't know how I've done it, but my map is totally screwed up.
It doesn't switch between the small view and tactical properly and I've lost most of the way points, serpents pillars etc, creating a way point doesn't show up on the map. Short of deleting every character's profile and uninstall re-install Pinco's, which would take hours, can anyone suggest a fix?

start to rename the character's profile where you have the problem and see what happen with a clear profile...
Rebuild the profile now it's easier with the EC profile manager

My EC map won`t work with SOS`s either.

It apppears the problem is more fundamental than that. I removed a character's profile completely. With a new, clean profile I used the 'create a waypoint' option. A big yellow cone appeared in the play window, but no icon on the map, and no option to delete the way point.
Recently you posted about being able to remove those yellow cones? I have no option to do that. I always start the game through Pinco's using the top button, so my ui is constantly upto date.

There is no option for the green alien lights.

Thank you! Trashing the waypoint.xml has pretty much fixed it.
