Mana Regen Cap?

I've always thought that the cap on Mana Regen was 12, and some of the guides seem to confirm this. But then, in some messages, people are saying they're setting up characters with Mana Regen up to 18. I can't seem to find consistent information in the guides so I'm wondering if anyone here has the correct information. The cap on mana regen, is it 12 or 18?

I'll throw in my vote and logic to get it started. With imbuing (and loot drops), HP Regen & Mana Regen are limited to 2 per piece, while Stamina Regen is 3 per piece. My recollection was always that Mana & HP Regen were capped at 12, and Stam Regen was capped at 18. This seems to be consistent with the available regen per piece. Is that correct? Thanks.

there is not a cap on mr anymore. It's a fairly complex formula after 12 however, diminishing returns means really after 16 or so you probably will not notice much.
