Major House Problem

I reactivated an account yesterday that was holding a Keep. The house was "Somewhat Worn". I logged in, opened the door, opened the house sign, and then logged out in the house. This morning after server up, the house was "Greatly Worn". I figured with the new IDOC times being different, I may need to wait until this evening for the house to update. If it went IDOC I figured I would just trade houses with another account to be safe. Well I logged in a few minutes ago and the house completely skipped the IDOC stage and went straight to "Demolition Pending - Owned by OSI".

Any ideas how I can get this resolved as my account was reactivated well before this happened and should have updated this morning at server up? I am really concerned that I may loose all my stuff.

You'll have to page a GM.

I remember something like this if a house went IDOC but it still had vendors in it that prevented the house from actually falling. Did you have vendors in your house when you reactivated?

Contact the GM's if they cant help you might also want to send Mesanna a quick pm.... second thought do the pm now and then call the gm's. Explain the problem in short sweet form. They might be able to fix.

in days past once the house went into the 'pending demo' tag they would do nothing for it as technically by that point it should have allready fallen.

i know ive heard of the same kinda things and people never got it back.

if you have the account on why dont ya just unlock everything of value and move it to another house to save all your loot?

Poo, I am afraid that may be the case. I am hoping they will be able to do something since I activated my account before the house went into IDOC status, but we all know that customer service is not the best in this game, so I am skeptical. As for moving all my stuff, once the house is "Owned by OSI", my account no longer has access to it. I cannot even open the front doors let alone unlock everything and move it. That is my concern. Instead of updating the house status as it should have done, the system removed my access completely. I paged a GM but never heard back. Not even a canned response. Still waiting.

Oh, as a side note I am also unable to place a house on that accent now either. It says I must wait 160 hours. I am guessing that when I reactivated my account and opened the front door of my house the system must have registered that I "took ownership" of the house, but for some reason it kep decaying anyway and then went to "Owned by OSI". So now I have lost my house, everything in it, and I am unable to place a new house. Classic UO fail.

Demolition Pending-Owned by OSI is what happens when a house with rented out vendors would fall. This has been around for a long time. The vendor owners get time to reclaim their goods then then the house falls. On occasion one will get stuck cycling for over a year.

However if it is true you resubbed on Friday and it was Somewhat then it was Greatly and then Dem Pending on Saturday something is wrong with the timer. Saturday should have been Fairly then gone to a non decay status.

People are always getting ownerless/confiscated/banned houses confused with normal game system Owned by OSI houses. One Mesanna is needed, the other she is not.
