Magincia is clean, now what ?

quest giver says to find some restless souls and speak to them in ss.
but there are none to find in tram or fel Magincia.

The souls moved out of Magincia months ago. One of the previous publishes removed them.

Is this one of the quest givers to modify a Cloak of Corruption?

No longer finishable, as those souls have all moved on awhile ago.

there is a quest (threads of life) giver there asking to find and speak to restless souls in SS to 'help them move on.'

He sounds like one of the quest givers to convert Cloaks of Corruption into either Cloaks of Life, Cloaks of Death, of Cloaks of Power. There was one quest giver for each type of cloak transformation.

You can still transform a cloak of corruption as long as you have the Threads to do it. There were three types of thread Life, Fate, and Thought. They were obtained from different types of souls, each requireing a different method of retrieval (Spirit Speak, Excorcism, or slaying).

This quest was started sometime after Magincia was destroyed, but before the other towns were being invaded by the armies led by the Crimson Dragons.

do you mean the quest giver in magincia? that one you can do 3 times per char(once for each thread). he gives random rubble pieces for reward. though as noted above you would have to already have the threads(death,life,fate) to do,as you can't get anymore

It would be nice if they allowed the quest to continue, maybe stick the souls into Doom somewhere, or something.
