Mage Question

Is it good to be only a Arcane Mage? Or should i be Frost or Fire.

Im kind of a solo person playing games but if id have to join groups an that I can . I'm at level 18 atm got all my points in Arcane.

I never tried arcane or frost, I loved fire so much with all the power. I recently switched up my talents on the test server though, and I may change to a little arcane and a lotta fire instead.

Arcane has an ability that allows your next cast to be INSTANT, so if you have the talents up to that ability and then your fire, you can have an INSTANT PYROBLAST, which is instant 3k hit (probably more depending on your gear and possible critical hit.)

Arcane is actually pretty good....it has lower threat and you can do more dmg with it too (though I think that full fire will always do more). And with the combination of Pyroblast, Arcane Power and Presence of Mind, you can sometimes kill an enemy in one shot.

Can you Unlearn Arcane points and move them into Fire?

Anyone know the max points you get to use for your talents?

If you talk to your trainer you can unlearn all your talents. It's an all or nothing type deal and costs some coin to do so. But that's how you re-spec.

So i can unlearn all my arcane an move them into fire without losing any?

I'm at level 22 mage and have 1 into arcane and 1 into fire .I noticed my fire dame being low does alot of damage atm. Being a Gnome Mage I need to do alot of damage without taking a beaten .

Yes, all your talent points will be put as unused... then you can redistribute them again as you wish.

You just can't unlearn specific ones, you'll have to unlearn all of them. You get 1 talent point per level from 10 to 70.

<font color=00008B>You can unlearn them all from a class trainer. I think it's fairly cheap the first time, but it gets more expensive each time past that.
