Mage/Necro advice pls

Hey all!

Ok I'm in need of a little advice, this is my Necro Mage template and kit. Does anyone have any suggestions for improving not only the template but also the kit? She started out as a PVP Mage but shes not more PVM suited who can look after herself if I get raided in fel.

Her Template is:

Eval int 120
Magery 113.8 (120)
Med 120
Necro 108.7 (120)
Resist 120
Spirit Speak 119.5 (120)

Total is: 702 (720 when trained)

With 110/20/120 as stats.

It seems to work well for me at the moment, although do I really need resist? As shes not PVP as such I'm not 100% sure I do need it, would Spellweaving be better I wonder?

I've lost my way with all the new kit thats avaliable so does anyone have any suggestions at all please? I believe the trinket is fairly good as is the garb? I've been looking at the condemmed robe thinking that looks rather good. Simularly should I look for a book rather than a weapon as to boost my SDI?

Meh any idea's guys?

First off you are 5 faster casting 3 faster cast recovery. The cap on magery and necro is 2 faster cast 6 faster cast recovery. As far as gear goes pvm is all about spell damage increase. You would be better served using a ring with 12 Sdi and 3 fcr. Or a ring with 12 sdi and 1 fc 3 fcr and a bracelet with 12 sdi and 1 fc 3fcr. The spell woven britches for elves gives 10 sdi and hat of magi or kasa also give sdi. Also the pendant of magi gives 5 sdi. The only other wearable with sdi is necro arms with 10 sdi. I am not suggesting you wear all of these items but if you can get 3 or so it helps. Necro Mage weaver is an insanely powerful template. Especially with around 50 sdi. As is necro Mage scribe. Like any Mage suit your goals should be 40 lmc 2/6 casting 12 mr. For pvm above 45 sdi, for pvp at or above 60 dci. If you decide to add weaving you could go to 4 faster casting for the weaving spells, it's not necessary but it is nice. I would train to 120 resist and then keep it on a soulstone. As you can see I've made some small changes, I'm going to have to burn some Bkits though to try to get higher resists and more MR. I've got 6FCR and 4FC now so that should help and also more MR (MR13). SDI currently sits at 20 which I could increase if I used a scrappers or general's spellbook instead of the weapon. The only thing that's causing me concern is my resists now 44/69/55/66/75 which is a bit out of whack. I'm using 4 runic bits so I think there is where I can improve.

I havent decided how/if I'm going to change her template yet however. Both weaving and mysticism look promising but adding inscription would boost her SDI. I dont know what spells to use for mysticism or what ones rely on imbuing.

I dont suppose anyone could offer some advice on weaving over Mysticism and what spells work well? Obviously as a necro/mage temp I use Wrath form and wither alot. With Explo/FS's when I need to. With the suit now at MR13 I'm thinking she'll be better at casting higher spells without loosing so much mana... *thinks* I need to add 40 LMC (Currently 30 so need to add 10) damn...

The spell woven britches are 10 lmc and 10 sdi. Just a suggestion. It's tough to balance everything, which makes things difficult. Good luck.
