So I did a bit of modifying on my old scribe mage and worked this up with items. I would prefer to somehow make a Mage/wrestle/Necro, but haven't figured out a solution as of yet.

Not sure what you didn't like about mage/wrestle/necro. Here's a shot:

120: Wrestle
110: Magery
105: Necromancy
100: Eval Int, Meditation, Spirit Speak
85: Resist (or skip altogether and buff other skills instead)

Wouldn't an actual weapon skill be better than Wrestle if you have Necro? In Wraith form it could be used to sap mana, and in Vampire form you could use it to sap health.

Lefty, the Mystic/Weaver template is a beast in the field in a team setting. I would use that template and just become really good with the AoE and odd ball spells. Sleep can win fights.

IMO necro is only good for wither, painspike, omen, and blood oath. People (myself included) carry plenty of apples to counter the strangle/corpse skin, etc.

I don't like imperterritus's template. Resist is either 120 or 0. No real middleground.

I'm going to be putting together a similar template to what you have Lefty, but tweaking slightly to account for a heavier dismounter population on Chesapeake.

120 resist
80 ninja (enough for form)
60 Mystic (sleep spam)
60 Spellweaving (pixies, thunderstorm, gift of life, gift of renewal, arcane empowerment, attunement are all nice with a level 6 circle)
80 med

I'd probably use the faction tome which gives the extra 15 skill points for magery that would be required.

I'll give it a shot Lynk, However I got thrown into some business projects which have cut my game time to nill and I can't say it is productive. I have wasted over 42 hour coordinating a software project only to find our prospect developer we were going to hire was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Well dang, I'm vamping.

You can't Spell Trigger Hail storm.

Even if you could you don't have Imbuing which affects what level spells you can Trigger. (So with 0 you wouldn't be able to Trigger a 7th circle spell.)

Plus I doubt you would both get Hail Storm off in a confined space vs 6 Dexxers that can Disarm you.

Block 'em off with e-fields :)

Got a 120 mage yesterday so I'm going to be able to test the template after all, yay!
