"Made By" Double Exceptionals

I love these little "Made By" lanterns. I'll certainly keep at least one of the five. As well as a general price check, I wonder how much interest there might be in the amongst those that collect the old tagged craftables?

And newb rares question of the day goes to Nico with:-

Why are some tables labelled "A table [exceptional]"/exceptional whilst still others are labelled "A table of exceptional quality"/exceptional?

the difference in the labels has to do with the age of the item and when it was crafted. the titles were changed at some point in the past.

As to the price of the tables and lanterns.

I normally see lanterns without the bracket title for 500k-1m, so i'd say about 2-3m

the [exceptional] tables ive bought 4 recently for 2-5m each.

the exceptional tables about 200-400k

It would be great if somebody could add to the FAQ a list of the various Exceptional tags and their relative rarity.

I agree!

As a Rares Newb Extrordinairre, it would certainly help me if no one else. Might spare a few queries, or at least the enquiries could be easily re-directed.

Are you volunteering?

It's early so I may have forgotten to include a title, but those are the ones that come to mind

1. An _____ [Exceptional]
<font color="red">1m-15m+ depending on the item and how desirable it is, as well as its use, deco/wearable.</font>

2. An _____ of Exceptional Quality
<font color="red">100k-1m</font>

3. Of Exceptional Quality
<font color="red">100k-300k</font>

4. Exceptional __________
<font color="red">5k-25k, the exception being if if is a weapon or piece of armor with excellent mods.</font>

Theres the (blessed) factor to make sure you account for with clothing pieces. Unless its prepatch blessed, even those old "made by" or earlier (exceptional) tags wont make it nearly worth close to 5mil usually. Unless you catch some unknowledgable people.

With the prepatch blessed tag the value of the various older exceptional varations goes through the roof.

I sell [exceptional] pieces without the prepatched bless tag for more than 5m reguarly, so thats not true. Many people prefer either the [exceptional] tag or the [blessed] tag over one or the other, just as some want their pieces to have both.

The presence of both tags as you said goes through the roof and as was seen in at least one of Tomas Bryce's auctions hit in the 50's or 60's for a single made by [blessed][exceptional] pair of boots. So for a piece of desirable clothing its not unheard of or out of the ordinary for a piece of [exceptional] clothing to hit in the 5-15m range, especially pieces such as doublets, kilts, skirts, etc.

There is.

I've received some crazy bids for my Long Pants [exceptional][blessed].

But then again, I've had an [exceptional] leather cap on my vendor for a month. I started at 3m, but it didn't sell. I had it on there at 1.25m for a week, but still didn't sell. Normally things are sold within a day or 3. I took it off and will wait for better days.

There is a market, but not everything will sell easily.

He was talking about furniture and deco items, not wearables

[exceptional] furny has a smaller market then clothing, and can be very vexing as it is much more difficult to find, but select pieces such as chests, tables, and benches will range from 1-5m, sometimes more if the person really desires/needs the item.

sigh...trying to sell one of the 1 mil ones for 200k...and out-priced by another vendor selling em for 20k...Damn Baja! I can't decide if they are just ignorant or just that desperate to sell TO the ignorant.
