Loving this different skilling style

Has anybody found out whether or not what's going on in TC3 is a bug or an on purpose test for a new style of skilling? All I know is it's AWESOME to be able to be in the skill house that I want to skill at and not have to worry about going where the speed is. I keep expecting to log in and see that it's returned back to normal, but its been like this ever since the update on Wednesday, with no mention of whether it is or isn't a bug, but nobody's complaining, everybody loves it......no begging people in a one-third filled house to skill what you need to skill so you can get the top speed, no having to abandon wonderful conversation just because you need to switch skills and there's nobody studying what you need......lovin it lovin it lovin it!

I am hoping that it it to encourage players to go to other houses. If I could get the same skilling speed at other houses I would frequent them more often and go to more of a variety of houses. This is one of the better ideas and would be excited about staying if it were true.

Edit: Ok, whatever you guys are getting I'm not seeing it. Maybe someone can explain more what it is.

Thats the strange part. This past week while skilling in TC3 we were all comparing what we saw on our screens. We all saw something differant, yet when we actually timed it we were all getting 144% skill speed (or 140% I forget which) regardless of what the screen showed! If this is a glitch, this is one glitch I can deal with! I just hope if its a glitch we don't log back in one day and find all of those "not so hard earned" skill points gone!

If I have two sims skilling on the same lot, each screen will sometimes have something different, even for the same sims.....strange indeed.

As for taking the points away from us, BITE YOUR TONGUE

Nah, I don't think they'd do that to us, but it might be a while before we see 247% again. LOL.

Luc posted in the blog last week that the party was on-off again all week. Would that be it? I'm thinking it's more "on" than "off" which is awesome. Hope to be able to log in this weekend and catch up on it.

No this is something different, because its not a consistent speed for everybody skilling the same thing like a speed party is with 247% or 144% if you have 6 people doing the same skill. This is different. You've seen it, haven't you?
