Hi i might have a weird query but here goes.

I've been a UO player since 99-00 and played for several years on and off and was thinking of returning again after 3 years, so my question is as i really do NOT want to start from scratch,
as i don't have my old email associated with my old account nor do i remember the password i'm pretty sure however i've got the username right , however nothing i do or am possible to do alows me to gain access to my password or reset it, i do have my old cd-key from way back, i was wondering if there is any way means of getting this fixed or is my account lost for ever??

I'm pretty sure that if you retain the original CD key, billing address and credit card information, you should be able to get the account information back through Customer Support...at least that is what I have heard.

It's been about 5 years since I did this, but I called UO Customer Service and used my old ORIGINAL installation CD key code to have my password reset. Note that it must be the key code used to create the account.

I don't know what the CS phone number is, but good luck and welcome back!

Hey Konni:

Call customer support and if u can remember ur old email address they will be able to give u all info u need. Also using ur cd key number will get u to where u need to be.

Call and let them know the situation. They will verify any info they can:

Original Billing Credit Card
Last Billing Credit Card
Original Code Key
Original Registered Address
Original Registered E-mail

and potentially more. The more info you can verify - the better your chances at it..

email = epic fail..

you need to call them. if u have the cc# used for billing or the email on the account they will give u the info on the account. but emailing them is the wrong choice.

Think I might remember you from Europa actually :D anyway, regarding customer support, if email provides no luck, try this:

http://support.ea.com/chat - your username is your UO account name prefixed with uo_ (like, uo_accountname). Log in, youre in a short queue (usually doesnt take more than a min) and then you can tell them your problem.
