Losing INSURED Items

I read yesterday about lost times when a char is killed

well, it happened to me, was training a GD against Blood Eles when a Para spawns, on foot i got killed, however after i was res'd i notice an ethy Ki-rin and Tome of Lost Knowledge were gone

wierd thing is ,i had the tome and re/equiped, but it disappeared when i clicked on my corpse, the ki-rin did not appear either, i relogged and they were there

Yeah I have had the same thing happen, with my orni which, has a personal bless dead on it and my pedant of the magi. They had just disappeared. When trying to cast spells I kept getting the error saying I did not have enough regs to cast the spell. We were in one of the new peerless spawns in the abyss so I didn’t want to log in and out just in case i got put of the peerless as we had to be grouped to get in.

Anyhow once the peerless was done and I was back at luna I logged out and back in again and my orni and pendant were back on me....Strange!

You can get a "dress" bug if you use dress macro in uoa to dress your character it has happen tons of time to me i just relog and my item is there again. But it seems like you have had some other stuff going on there, never heard an ethy dissapear thats something new i guess.

I just died to the dreaded Turkey bird and when I rezed and redressed my Pendant of the Magi was missing and my Cloak of Silence. Both were insured. I went back to my body and they were on it. I went from there to the bank to make sure there were enough funds to cover insurance and there was a few mil, so Im not sure what is going on.

I would just suggest everyone try to make it back to their bodies if they die and are missing anything.

This happend to me too today, was doing a few t-maps and my armor of fortune got looted of my corpse. I found it again on a balron - still insured.

Well let's hope it's not the "wild west" element (which our esteemed Producer thinks "everyone wants" in UO) being slipped in without our knowledge.....

This happened to me at a Felucca champ spawn. I died and was ressed, but my insured pendant of the magi was nowhere to be found on me, though everything else insured was. I ran over to my body and the pendant was sitting on my corpse, still insured. After the spawn I checked the bank and had my usual 6 or 7 piles of 60k gold along with checks. I thought it was just a very rare bug and I'm glad I got it back.

Lost suits: 6
Missing Items still on corpse and insured: 10

Happened to me today with an enhanced gorget. Newly dressed and insured. Died fighting turkey and it was on my corpse, still insured.

happened to me as well last night was fighting at an idoc got killed got resed and casa of rajin was gone checked all armor everything else was there and insured went to bank and had about a mill lose gold in there so it was not a lack of insurance.

Just happened to me and I couldnt loot my body. I paged GM but they took so long my body disappeared.lost several arties and my conjurers trinket. I Have plenty of loot i could replace it but this is second time this happened to me where I lost stuff cause GMs didnt show up in time then thier gonna give me speil bout how items cant be replaced.So Im out Im closing my acct. This was last straw.
I have Screen shot of me standing by my body unable to loot it. Screw this freakin game. LATA!

Well too late for you, but if this happens to anyone else where they can't grab items off their corpse or move items in their backpack try closing out the game totally and logging back in before trying a GM.

Oh yeah, that's a separate (and annoying) bug. Both clients suffer from it, but the SA client more frequently so.
