Looting rights bugged!

couple times this happened about receiving looting rights on monsters.. for example..
1 mage with necro and repond book ...
1 dexor with berserker suit..

barracoon champ full life..

mage doing 100 + points throughout life till dead.
dexor doing 50 ish points throughout life till dead.

champ dies

mage = 0 scrolls and not even looting rights.
dexor= 6 scrolls with looting rights.

anyone else having looting rights bugged knowing they did far enough of the % damage for loot?
was thinking something to do with the suits... (scratches head).

Doesn't healing fit into the equation now?

Here is possible explanation (if I am understanding the recent changes correctly--I may not be). I'll use arbitrary heal/damage numbers to make my point.

Mage does 20,000 damage to Barracoon. Heals self for 1,200 points during fight for a total of 21,200 points.

Dexxor does 10,0000 damage to Barracoon. Heals self for 16,800 points during fight for a total of 26,800 points.

Dexxor's total is 5,600 higher, and thus gains looting rights.

Not sure if this helps, or I am just misinformed.

But based on those numbers, shouldn't they both get looting rights?

I haven't noticed it while general hunting, but I have defintely noticed looting rights are hosed up during EM events. The last EM event I went to I had a mystic/weaver dropping bombard and word of death... easily doing 5000+ damage and did not receive looting rights on a single mob. Prior to the healing changes I never had a problem getting looting rights while running this template at EM events, and now I can not get looting rights on anything. I know there were several people in the EM event channel who were experiencing the same issue. I sure hope someone is paying attention and getting it looked into.

I hope this isn't expanded for all mob fights. Last [renown] I was at, the guy said Hit It! get rights. So donned a slayer, hit the Bladeweave icon, and charged. Whiff! but RPD from my shield did something, and I indeed got looting rights. After reading the OP's experience, it's nothing short of bizarre.

After the changes I gave up trying to figure out what is what. I go to EM events sometimes get stuff often don't get rights even if I was mostly on the monster until it was down to 50% health I should have gotten more points than anyone but for some reason I don't get rights. I am an archer so I don't always take damage so I've begun just randomly pulling bars and healing anyone around... seems to give 10X the points.

Anyway I think the point thing with the healing is a tad flawed.

I agree. The last 5 times we (small group) have done Dreadhorn I have not gotten looting rights - and I always get rights with my mage there. I have also been the resurrecter and healer - yet still no looting rights. Something is not working right.

Remember that in the looting rights change not only is your damage and healing taken into consideration but also taking damage is also taken into consideration. So for a sampire who is doing a low amount of damage, but is taking alot of damage and is healing through that, they very easily get the top looting rights and possibly 3x or more than you get on a mage.

It's not just that - even the damage output from spells has changed... it's almost like SDI on certain champs is not working. And as a mage - I am still right in the middle of things and get plenty of damage.
