Hi all:

finally canceled my accounts tonight so if you are friended to my house, please loot it accordingly. I have two weeks on my accounts left and if somebody wants the mayor's house in zento, and you are one of the people i knew back in the day, post in the thread and ill let Sky transfer to you. Otherwise, id just assume let it drop and let the people who are left fight over the spoils.

Even though i have not played here in a very long time, i still find myself wishing i was playing a game that gave me as much passion playing as i got when i was here on siege. It certainly wasnt the cutting edge graphics or the fair gameplay, but the quality people who played here, who kept me logging in night after night.

I remember placing that house when SA first became active on Siege, dodgin Memnoch rolleyes: to stay alive myself, just to place it there, being one of the very first Zento home plots to go up when SA went live here.

Much later on then sellin it to you later on so your Castor could patrol and attack the vile ones out there.

Please do not let it all just drop, for me it is full of memories of both you and Skylark after I transferred it over to your...mayoral brother.

*IS SAD* Now I feel like just crying, always kinda hoped maybe some day some year you and Skylark would return. I oft go by there looking to see if ya maybe, would ever come back. Personally I did not think I myself would even 'still' be here in UO on Siege, to see this day happen on Siege regarding your house. You were always like my 'big brother' back in the KSS days.



Maybe, my 'Castor/Skylark' the parrot would want to go back *home* there ...I still have the parrot ya both gave me...oldest parrot birdie, in my flock too.

I have moved Castor's soulstones, and his treasures to his bank/pack. There is mainly lots of junk left in the houses - common deco, BODs, potions, resources, etc.

I had actually cleared the access lists on our houses a couple of years ago when so many people were selling old accounts, so more than likely only Dante (KSS) and QZ have access to the Zento house now.

QZ...if you have a spare char, I'd be happy to meet up with you and xfer Castor's Zento house back to you before the account time runs out.

Ha...it was slightly horrifying running through there this morning, and trying to locate things I thought might have been important, and they are likely even messier than before because I unlocked things, and took some deco items such as Doom lamp posts, and put them in a box that I thought you or Petra might want.

I banked his soulstones, and collected things such as book-cards that other players gave to him that have sentimental value, and put in bank/pack. (Hopefully he doesn't feel this is too personal to share).

I also moved the one surviving cobbler I could find in his house, with Skylark's "lady" title, to his bank.

I never claimed I've never once used them, I said I don't use them now. This was a pic back when sammy helms and legs were blessed. Real old time when the game was fun. I later decided to quit using them which is my current status.

Heh...I only had time for a quick run through before I left for work this morning. I wasn't sure how much time was left on the accounts, so at least wanted to save the soulstones, although I doubt it really matters. Also, his bank was full (I dumped a bunch of old junk - by current standards - weapons on the ground by the bank to quickly free up some room for things such as the soulstones). Maybe I'll be able to do a more thorough pass before the account time expires.

It is sad for me too, even though we haven't been playing. I will also be closing down my remaining account soon, as I am purchasing a RL house hopefully this month, and just can't justify the wasted $13 a month anymore.

I'll want to friend you, and Petra to my Vesper house before I close the account, as there are deco items, and useful resource items you might want, but the bulk of the stuff is common deco, and plants that probably no one will want.

Well I just did a fast run thru of the friended chests, there be pet balls with pets names on em in one of these chests.

Don't know if yall still have those pets stabled or not, but ya may just want to log these on with chr. till or if yall ever log back on again.

Ah, how I miss the day...

Nothing that came before, and nothing that will come again, shall ever approach the feeling that was UO in 'the day'. When exactly that day was is different for everybody, but it's always the people you were with in 'the day' that made it 'the day'.

I'm so sorry to see you and Skylark shutting it all down. Like QZ, I had held onto a little hope that you guys might eventually come back. You guys were so much fun and that funeral was put on by one of my newbie TnT, who just loved Castor, but was so proud that he got to take part in giving him a death robe! lol

Oddly enough, I don't look back on my newb days in 1999, when I first started playing, as "back in the day". The best time in UO for me was when I started Siege and you guys were very much a part of my "back in the day" time frame. You are both terribly missed.

Actually the very first time I think I ran into both Castor and Skylark was in a newly built player town that Aeric put up. And he had enlisted a speechifying fella to give some speech, and his name was Py Lethius. And of course the VILE WyRM had to come a callin too. It was like getting to meet Siege ..um as lively as it can get with all those chrs. in one spot in KiN township ! I was like 'OOOoooOooO, oooh I think ima gonna love playin on this shard'.

First time someone comic yet scary...had shouted at me 'DIE INSOLENT BLUE' ! Ah memories... lol

QZ: If you want that zento house, i cant think of anybody else better who i would want to have it. I still have about 2 weeks on the account and if you need a few weeks to decide on it, ill reactivate the account to give you time. You gave me that house when that was extremely valuable real estate and the least i could do is return the favor

Cheapy: Those were good times. I also did enjoy ganking you or getting ganked by you. either way i would get a good laugh out of it, especially when you would post that screenie with the title "Castor..bagged and tagged!"

LOL QZ...Skylark owns the vendors. I believe I put something like 500K on each of them so they would stand for a long time after I closed that account, if the house was there. They've stood for over a year now since I closed the account, so money-wise should be good for a while longer before they run away.

I am not sure about what happens to vendor contracts when you trade a house. But, assuming no snags in the transfer, as long as you leave the vendor contracts at automatic renewal, while I can't promise anything about them standing until certain places freeze over, they should stand for quite a while yet.

I don't recall what happens either when a home is transferred regarding the existing standing vendors. I think all 3 should stand tho.for ages yet to come, cuz 2 look just like him, 1 looks just like one of you.

Maybe they will have to be undressed in case they go poof with transfer ??, then they can be redressed/renamed to all look same, to stand as is, till... hell freezes over.

And check your /his/ yall's whatevers, in the house sign storage, too, ya could have other alts of yourselves, as lil vendor dolls, or his private diarybook being ... stuck in there. We would not want that diary of his, or private mayor type notations book, getting set loose on the shard, for all to read.

Just let me know when you want to transfer the home over to Miranda before it goes down. The only things I have *looted* out of there so far, were your 2 books inviting you both to my knighting ceremony, and an orphaned parrot and a perch for it, that was in a chest. Just feels weird takin yalls stuffs.. so I haven't cept for the parrot birdie.

The rest is still all in there. oh yeh I took one christmas recipe for the gingerbread cookie for a new aspiring chef, the just moved on Moonglow recently. I don't think he has that cookin recipe.

Friends list only shows a few chrs. those being your chrs., his chrs. and 2 of mine, and some one, I don't know.

Transfer complete...thanks QZ. In spite of the horrifying amount of junk, there are actually some nice goodies in there. I believe I moved my BOD cloth and no longer obtainable "spider silk" bright white cloth in there before I closed Skylark's account, and our modest cloth BOD collection as well as rewards such as CBDs, runic kits (not sure with imbuing now if they are worth anything) etc.

Tis enough of a nightmare moving Miranda's junk, 40 + parrots I had in her home, and etc. and all me carp vendors, out of her now decaying home on over to my Hughes's &/or Joesef's homes temporarily.

I DO have an end game plan though.
Whatever looks like NEW can use it, will go to NEW.

Nothing is gonna go to waste from in his home, that is for sure.

Hopefully I will get somethings to Petra & a couple others here, cuz I know they imbue, and I do not... if there are things to do that with, in Castor's home.

Then come about 'Halloween, I may just conduct an autumn fest festive something event, and decorate with a dyed chests looking like black coffin/s, chests full of items that are up for grabs from the Mayor's home, at a set time etc. for halloweeny murder and mayhem festivity. I will break em all open like so many Zento trick or treat piniadas at set times. My parrot birdy Castor/Skylark that yall gave to me ages ago, may officiate that event. lol

*some thing halloweeny autumn fest/festive* but that is a while off yet.
I figure it will take that long to sort thru whatever is in there....AFTER doing my 3 own houses atm first.
