Greetings!
After a couple years of doing other things, I am back to UO-Pacific. The endless grind of Warcraft became just that. And endless grind. The next expansion just starts the same thing all over. Weee.....
But I did learn a few things from Warcraft. The importance of communication, the roles of certain classes of characters, the advantages of the proper uses of buffs/debuffs, etc.
Unfortunately, except for one good friend that goes where I go, game-wise, I cannot find a single person that I used to play with that still plays the Pacific shard.
That being said, I am looking for either a guild to join or a small group of decent folk to join me in starting one.
I am an adult(read mature), have 2 accounts to work with, numerous developed characters and already have a couple houses at the entrance to Hythloth available for guild purposes. I have my OWN 10-man Ventrilo server for use (I have learned that UO is FAR more fun when you can actually TALK to the people you play with. Dying while typing "Help!" sucks).
I am not interested in PvP. Just good-natured, mature folks to adventure with and give some of the harder content a go. Good company is what I seek! Not drama, or squeeky kids(got my own!), or bickering over loot. People that can take a joke as well as tell one, as opposed to those that take offense at four-letter words or other such trivialities.
If you have to put the kids to bed, your probably going my speed. If you have to go to bed because of Mom-aggro, your probably not.
