Now that the castle in Iish is gone do they spawn anywhere eles? I wanted to try my hands at the Obsidion quest today and I need to take a snapshoot of one.

Paroxy Dungeon, also spawns 2nd level of the Abyssal Infernal Champ.

Wait a minute, Blackthorn's Castle is gone in Ilsh now? What about Exodus' Dungeon?
I used to lure away all the Golems in that one tower at Blackthorn's Castle, and slaughter the Controller's on my Mage/Tamer for Compassion Sage. Sometimes i'd lure away all the Controllers in that tower, and use my Archer to kill all the Golems in there for Musicbox Gears. I'd use my Archer to kill Exodus Minions/Overseers in the Exodus Dungeon for Power Crystals too. The spawn at the Gargoyle Mining Camp sucks in comparison to that tower at Blackthorn's Castle and the Exodus Dungeon.

Part of the spawn that was in the tower at the castle is still there (in the ruins), but the Exodus dungeon is currently unreachable (and has been for several months).

Some this stuff is also in the brigand camp west of the Honor Shrine in Ilshenar.

I do, or did, a lot of what PlayerSkillFTW mentioned in that post. I'm not in the event and I have no desire for deco statues so I have to wait until the 'cute little rock-slide' is gone, and the buildings mysteriously rebuild themselves? i just don't think it was a good idea to force people to do a quest to get access to the areas. There is/was a lot more going on in there than just golems and controllers. I have plenty else I can do, just my opinion.

Yeah, checked out the "new" Central Ilshenar area, and it's nowhere near as good as it used to be. At the place of the Tower, only 2 Controller's and 1 Golem spawn there at a time now, when there used to be like 8 Controllers and 4 Golems that would practically insta respawn.
The Exodus Dungeon is still blocked off, so that means no quick farming for Power Crystals to make Arcanic Runestones, Golems or even just for Clean Up Brittania Points. Something tells me they're bringing Exodus back.
