Looking for an honest Catskills idocer

Someone out searching for idocs today found something very valuable of mine underneath the sign of my inn while I was modifying it. If you are that person, you know who you are. You found it just northwest of Britain in Trammel, on Catskills, this morning, EST. If you see this, I would very much like to have that item back, and perhaps we can discuss a reward of some sort.

Well, I wasn't aware that items left on the floor would be deposited under the sign. I've learnt my lesson, and I would like that item back. I'm thinking that person might actually have been trying to get my attention because he/she ran around my inn a number of times while I was working on it.

Do you recall the characters name? I know the UO character/guild page has been reported to be borked at the moment. In my humble opinion there would be no RoC breach here on Stratics as long as accusations or personal attacks are not made. *disclaimer* (I might be wrong)

Even a guild or a title might help.

No I don't remember much except the person was wearing a light blue casa and either a lighter blue, or a white robe. I think he/she (I suspect she based on the colour scheme) was riding a blue beetle. My guess that whoever it is, he/she is a well known idocer. The person had the look of someone that does this a lot, and has gained a lot of wealth doing it.

If they are an idocer than all you have to do is find a juicy looking idoc and camp it. Most likely he'll show up.

1) It is kinda lame but technically I dont believe that anything was "swiped"
Items left in a public place(and on the ground under a house sign is certainly public)are fair game no matter what you may think. Quite often I will 'clean' a house while designing it by purposely leaving items unsecured so that they end up outside & free for all to take.

2) I think it is a bit lame that someone inside a house sees someone outside their house obviously trying to communicate with them and chooses to ignore them(no matter how busy they think they are atm it is fairly rude. House designing or not)
With possible neighbors like that who needs enemies?

So IMHO it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy

Exactly the kind of response I would expect from you Goldberg. Thank you for not letting me down. And seeing as this thread has nothing to do with you, and is none of your business, how about you go troll somewhere else?

Goldberg will be happy to know. The "thief" turned out to be a friend of mine. For all you doubters, there is such a thing as karma. And as he hadn't upgraded his account yet, and had missed the special goodies, I let him keep it as an early Xmas present. He had already bought me a very expensive welcome back to UO gift, so it all worked out perfectly.

Wow! Very nice. I guess it makes more sense that he was trying to get your attention, and grabbed your stuff thinking you might not notice it popped under the house sign. Glad things worked out for you.
