Looking for a good Mage weapon

I need a good mage weapon , either;

one-handed SC melee weapon or

balanced SC bow.

Don't care if it has -1 casting.

I don't have a bow with what you want, but I have this one-handed weapon that is "ok".

Diamond mace
SC
FC-1
Mage weapon -22 skill
HLD 38%
DI 43%
DCI 12%

It is kind of slow (3s) but the mage penalty is on the lower side of the spectrum which is nice, and it does pretty decent damage.

Hattori, if you want the mace you can have it. The only thing Kestrel uses it for is bonking nosy ogres, & trolls in the head while mining and chopping wood.
