Looking for a full guide for new event

I've been away from UO for a bit, been considering coming back for a few weeks while I have some down time. Had a few questions:

-What template works best? Tamer? Sampire?

-How is it done?

-What is the full list of new artifacts?

I haven't tried my tamer, but i have heard that both sides attack your pet, even if your loyalty with that side is high. Sampire is a fast way to gain loyalty, using whirlwind in a gang of enemies. as far as the rewards i didnt get any when i was doing it, just did the quest to get some blackrock stew to feed my Bane dragon
