Like I said in other threads... it seems like the "side events" have been better planned, scripted and executed than the "main" storyline IMO.
It's nice that we have a storyline and all, but not every part has been as enjoyable as say, the Ophidian Invasion or ToT2 or some of the other side events... IMO of course.
And there's also the whole crypticness of choosing sides and so forth. With the lack of notion of what to do OTHER than kill the same 3 or 4 mobs endlessly, not too many people are going to monkey around with the system long enough to figure out that everyone SHOULD HAVE BEEN doing X instead of doing Y (where Y is killing the same monsters endlessly). While that may be fun for some, I've never been a person who spends their time trying to figure out weird things just to see if they will affect anything (which is probably why I would make a piss poor exploiter).
Ahh well, I have other pursuits to keep me busy and depending on how the turn in turns out, we'll go from there.
As it is currently, I'd be happier seeing certain... patches... being released than an event cycle still following "The Inu-Vinci Code".
