At 5 AM eastern time I was in the middle of grabbing BOD's and suddenly got stuck at the "verifying account" screen. I tried several times on two accounts.
16 minutes later I could log in again. Either EA had somebody on duty fixing it ultra fast, or this was a scheduled regular shutdown that I forgot about.
Anyway, it's good to not have to wait hours
