Yes. Me. Every day lately it gets worse. Today is the worst so far. I log in and out during the course of a day or evening - whenever a little time becomes available to play, and often get the message: "There is some problem communicating with origin. Please restart Ultim Online and try again."

- - and this morning while having a coffee I tried to log in; again later in the afternoon without success; again before supper and now, after supper, I still can't get in. Is this just something affecting the Sonoma Server or other servers?

Usually, if I wait patiently, it will heal itself - -
but today impatience is winning: = UO, LET ME IN!
Has it anything to do with all the new downloads and game extensions and fixes? Is this really something we are expected to fix or is some thing wrong with an EA patch?

Ofcourse it had to be something simple and basic!
I just solved my problem and hopefully, it might solve yours too:

Be sure you are logging-in using UO Auto Patch and not UO Client!

UO Auto Patch has a new patch to download which I hadn't got to yet. I have always known that until you download a new patch, UO won't let you log in using UO Client.

I simply hadn't noticed I was using the UO Client to log-in and not the main UO AutoPatch.

The UO Auto-patch log-in icon on my desktop had switched places with the UO Client icon.

Out of habit I was clicking on the UO ICON which in this case is where my UO Auto-Patch icon is normally found and since both UO Icons look the same except for the fine print under the UO Symbols, I hadn't noticed the switch.

... grrr. Computers!

A new day and already a problem with log-in again. Is it Patch 64 which is causing the problem?

I figured out my problem and unfortunatly I have to redownload UO. Had a patch mess up on me a couple weeks ago but up until yesterday it was allowing me to hit cancel and still log in like normal. So, today im downloading, such fun.

Black Sun (first reply to your post) hit it right on the head for my problem. If I had been awake Black Sun's answer should have alerted me so I would check if I was logging-in using UO Client instead of UO Auto Patch. Problem yesterday healed itself immediately.
