lockpicking stuck....

i'm stuck at 96.3 lockpicking

i've tried the boxes at L@E...

i've tried just lockpicking every box in every dongeon (that i could get to)...

i've been at it for 2 days and i can't get a gain.



... you know... for a relatively useless and profitless skill, they sure do make it hard to gain past 95. they should either amp up the stuff you get in treasure chests (and hunts) or make it MUCH easier to GM the skill.

anyway... any advice for gaining 96 to GM lockpicking?

Level 3 and 4 dungeon chests. Come to my library by the Buc's Den portal in Trammel, I have a complete dungeon chest rune set on the first floor that you can get to all the level 3/4 chests in game from.

Desperado's way works well, of course. You could also go to the twisted weald to get discorded by a satyr and pick locked GM crafted chests (those small ones). Just remember to run back through the sparklies as soon as you're discorded to break the line of sight, then run back in. Stay in range of the satyr and pick til you run out of picks (take a few hundred) and/or GM

eh... explain again. where is this place? do i carry the boxes with me? how long will i stay disco'd? does this work with other skills (like lumberjacking, fletching, etc...)
