Well over ten years ago the world famous "Obsidian Knight" and I (Kraxal), started something very special. I dont even think we knew that the Leather Neck Raider's guild on the Atlantic shard in Ultima Online, would be so successful. I just want to say to everyone who has been a part of our great guild over the past decade, whether you are still a member or not, thank you and we love you from the bottom of our heart! I know LNR has played a big part of many of your lives and we are grateful that you have allowed us into your homes. The positive impact that we have had still amazes even us, and to know that we have helped develop better members of the irl society, basically takes our breath away.
We have been gone from the game now for awhile but we have never forgotten our Ultima Online fans or the community that has helped shape the type of guild that we wanted to create, and invisioned for UO, so many years ago. When Obsidian Knight and I started to play again a few nights ago, to our amazement, even though we had been gone for a good amount of time, there were still individuals playing in "LNR" and carrying on our historically famous traditions. To those members we salute! This touched us deeply and because of this we have decided to dedicate some time to the game and rebuild, once again, the one guild that reigned supreme in all of Ultima Online for so many years in a row.
We want you! In LNR, unlike other guilds that you might have been a part of "LNR Cares about you"! We put our members first and it is not about us. Of course there is structure and rules, but you can basically be yourself. We dont ask much from our members other than that you be a friend, and that "everyone love everyone". We are opening up our recruitment line on our website at http://www.lnrguild.com. We invite every player, friend or foe, to sign up and be a part of what will sweep accross the remaining membership of our beloved game. The times that we have and the fun that we create together in the game will be a blast, but the friendships that you develop will last a lifetime. I will be checking our website periodically throughout the day to contact future applicants and older members who are coming back. I am headed to the gym to work on my squat thrusts and I will be back to answer any questions that anyone might have about our guild, or about what LNR has planned for the future. You are not stuck in the rut that you might find yourself in with your current guild. There is hope. If you want to have some real fun, then try us out.
