Tell ya one thing, my dog irl sure doesn't need to 'recover' from a treat. whats the deal here?

That depends on what's in the treats, to give them their performance enhancing properties :)

As an avid mass murderer, I don't think you would want me to be able to run around with my Mare / Bake always pumped up on steroids...

We do need to have feeding the characters turned up a tad.... but pets??? My G dragon is stuffed every time i go hunting.... same for my other pets

Yeah, it's balance. Can you insure the treats though? If you can't then I guess it isn't as bad, but still.

generally, if you overfeed a pet treats, they get sick and puke it up somewhere. would be a funny dynamic if implemented...feed treats too often, pet gets sick and useless.
