Living out of the bank

I'm considering a shard transfer, but I don't want to lose the castle i just acquired on Legends, so the character I transfer will be "homeless" (not gonna open another account just to have a house!) Has anyone lived out of the bank before? I figure I'll open a vendor somewhere once I start gathering stuff to sell, and any "trash" I'd gather would likely be unraveled anyway.

Ahh slumming it up... I miss the old days of uo and being uber poor =) haha but honestly it would be much easier to do these days... or maybe it was easier then... I dono hard to say... *Sighs*

Yea, you can do it fine. Keep the gold on the vendor, for the most part.
Keep only essentials, sell the rest.
I think Siege would probably be the place with the most people living out of the bank.

Also, you have 6 or 7 chars, spread the items throughout. Find a friend that'll let you transfer items between chars at their house, or find a (or multiple) completely non-descript location in the middle of nowhere (make sure all the chars have runes to the location) to transfer items.

I assume it will still work - though you have to refresh the boat regularly and keep the planks locked to avoid theft.

And yes... it is possible to live solely out of banks and back-packs. I never even had a house on my main shard from launch till AOS was released.
