I came into possession of some off colored pink scrolls on SOTD the day the vampire event came out. I have reason to believe they belong to someone over at EA. I say this because all but one of the scrolls ceased to work until today.
Let me explain.
On the day of that event, I was the first person on SOTD to stumble into vampire stuff before the shard went down for a few moments. When it came back up Supreem, announced what I had been saying in global for a few moments. The vampires had invaded.
However, when the first vampires were spawning, I saw a gold name at the bottom left of my screen and then ran into what appeared to be a newbie with suspicious gear. It was suspicious because it was an elf wearing a gargish kilt.
I don't recall the name with 100% clarity but I suspect the name was phoenix looking back. When I killed this player, there were odd colored pink scrolls. Those scrolls had interesting names and powers. Each began "Reward Template:"
Among the scrolls that title was followed by "nodraw" "Quality by Phoenix" and one which was apparently not connected to any reward.
One scroll made my character spew blood puddles, one said it didn't work and the one not connected to any reward rained 10k damage lightning on all non players, including invulnerable ones(they some could be damaged but not killed, others couldn't even take damage).
However, I found that the scroll of damage made for a very efficient spawner. I completed several champions, 5 harrowers on sotd. Today I am surrendering the scrolls to a dev or GM or any EA employee that responds on SOTD. the lightning scroll was lost to a harrower that exploded my corpse(DOH!!!) and the others I simply don't care about.
My question is, was it intended for 1 player to just run amuck with God mode like this or did someone at the EA office make a huge boo-boo by dieing to me?
