Little annoying things I wish the devs would fix

These are the equivalent of stepping on Monopoly houses, and havin' em slip between your toes and hurt like hell. Annoying, but not necessarily gonna ruin your evening. I guess by that nature, they prolly won't fix them any time soon. But still, I can complain about em.

Macro Interface Bar Boogers -- I'm dealing with a mob of Lich Lords or something and sweep to the bottom of the page, and surprise, one of my quick-click icons get stuck to the pointer. Add to the fact that you cannot CLICK anything when it is like this (unless you literally whip the cursor off the side of the screen) and you got one annoying bug.

Abysmal Stacking AI -- In a perfect shard, we would just drop the goodies in the right storage chests and they would stack properly. But nope, drop your 55 rubies in your gem chest that already has a stack of 500, and now you have TWO stacks of rubies, 500 and 55. Same goes for reagents and imbuing components.

Dismount -- To this day, I have never, ever fathomed any possible reason why on Earth anyone would dismount while in combat mode -- it puts you at a disadvantage. Yet if you are melee fighter, you sometimes click on yourself by accident and you are without a mount. For years I have begged for a "Never Dismount While In Combat" option in the UO interface, but it has fallen on deaf ears.

Doom Gauntlet Room Indicators -- Apparently are impossible to fix because I don't think I've ever seen them in working order. Granted, this is window dressing and it doesn't take much time at all to find out where the action is, but come on! This is DOOM, one of the supposedly top evil dungeons in the realms... surely they get some kind of eldritch funding and have halfway competent demonic operations managers running the joint. They should be running a tighter ship.

Navery Getting Her Rocks Off -- Poor Navery Night Eyes. First of all she is endlessly ridiculed for her enormous arachnid ghetto booty, and people have to go and screw up her feng shui by making her house fall on her. Good Lord, she's just hanging out in her house after a hard day of exsanguiating mortals and spinning webs in The Abyss, and she doesn't get a minute's peace. But the point is, the rock damage seems to be tweaked every patch, but they never seem to get it right.

More exist, but those are some top gripes.

Same type of potions made by differnt ppl don't stack together.

After being resed, lifitng up every single book and item in my bag to look for my ring, earring, and/or bracelet... many times it just happens to be underneath the very last one I lift up... >[

Setting up cast spell macro: Having to go through a long list of ALL the spells in the game looking for one particular spell each time I set one up >[

Canceling self-honor timer: Sometimes i'll accidently honor myself when I attempting to honor a monster chasing after me, but even if I choose the option not to honor myself, it still makes it so that I can't honor myself soon when I actually want to honor myself until the last honor duration is over even though I never actually used that last one. This often happens to me right before fighting a peerless or monster boss.

Dungeon music on stuck long after leaving the dungeon: I like the UO music (cept for dungeon theme and the normal war-mode theme), so I like to play the game with the music on, however it's annoying long after I leave a dungeon, the theme often continues to play on and on and on...

I actually wouldn't care if this happened with any of the other musics at any other location. But it just so happens that out of all the songs in the game, out of all the locations, it just happens to only happen with one of the very few I don't like >[

Minor things that really annoy the hell outta me

1. Having to click several times to open a low level T chest, because "you must first defeat the guardians of the chest". Even tho they are all laying dead at my feet.

2. Having a skeleton key that's sposed to be a thing with bonuses (as I understood it) but it actually fails me more than my gm tinker built lockpicks...

3. That damned cohesion thing with gates that we've been pancakes about forever.

4. And I'll say amen to that booger thing stuck to the cursor, it's a killer sometimes :p

but i did notice when using the ec for the first time not long ago i did get irritated that every new item i put in my bag ALWAYS goes underneath everything else
as opposed to the cc where it goes on top

Not sure what the issue is here. I solo her on my chiv archer with a balanced bow and 180 stam and heal and cure what she dishes out. Even when webbed up and stuck I still can heal and pot up. I use the rock thing also but it has been tweaked last i ever tried to less damage.

That booger has cost me my life more times than I'd like...

Not to mention when it counts to be doing the most damage... I can't do that with an icon booger stuck to my pointer finger!

A major bug as well as the freaking bug where I move things too quickly and lock up everything so I can't pick things up.

And I am not sure if anyone else noticed this but OMG does it lag bad when I open up the moving crate... locks me up for 2 min.

The 'you cannot pick that up' thing when using a dress macro. WHY can't I pick it up? I can SEE it there, in my pack, that last bit of armour that gives me my 100LRC and means I can go and get on with beating up whatever it is that I'm beating up. And it happens at times when I don't use the macro as well. The only way to cure it is to log out then in again, which is all very well when I've got guildies/allies around to invis me, but a bit of a bugger, to say the very least, when I'm all on my own and something large is bearing down with the intention of turning me into supper!

1. Not sure if this is what the OP is talking about but i sometimes get target box (monster that is dead already) stuck on my mouse and can not get it off. I have to log off to get rid of it. This is not very efficient in combat.

2. From experience , skeleton keys are failing more than gm picks. Please fix them or start dropping 120 lock picking scrolls.

Agreed! OMG I am sick of needing more scrolls and screwing up all my templates. With over 50 some characters I do NOT want to go getting more scrolls..... nor do I want to jimmy around all my freaking skills some more.

These 2 are fixed in the Enhanced Client at least. Macro problem solved with locking hotbars, and dismount problem solved with "ignore mouse actions on self" option. Don't know about Classic Client though.

Look at the pentagrams arranged in a pattern in the center of the central room.

For the small rooms, the outer pentagram linked to a specific room will be red, if the room is the active one. And, if the Dark Father is out, I believe either the center one is red, or none of them are (I'm not in the Gauntlet at the moment, so I'm doing my best to go by memory).

If they aren't working for you, it might be a shard-specific issue, as they've always worked for me. The only time I go to the wrong room is when I run into a room where the last spawn died while I was en route to that room.

I think you misunderstood what the OP meant. I THINK the OP meant that the indicator is not working, at least on his/her shard. Not that there isn't one.

NO This is NOT fixed....... I get these boogers all the time... I get someones bar or some monsters bar stuck to my cursor and it will NOT go away.

I hate having to redeed certain items before going into house customization mode. Irks be more than anything.

Another silly lil annoying thing [on Siege Perilous] new boat thingie...getting the gump warning that we are about to enter a [PVP AREA] on Siege. Another DOH ! :stir:

kinda silly to even have those gumps...over there on Siege..ah well. It makes sense for those gumps on every other shard, warning folks in case they may not know where [they are taking themselves with our own self made gates or recalling]?? but not on Siege.

And of course... your spirit lacks cohesion ... as it lets us gate away anyhow.
