Legends Lighthouse Ale-new item?

I found a blue ale bottle tagged "Legends Lighthouse Ale" on a Maddening corpse last night.

Is it a new item? Or a mini event reward?

I did a print screen image but do not know how to uplaod it here...

I thought I read somewhere that cooks & alchemists may someday brew their own - maybe we can now

Ah, could be. I didn't even think of that.

Perhaps Avery didn't get eaten and will still be able to venture back out to the wide open sea. He seems to love it so much out there.

Maybe he will be back at the tavern tonight.

I would be interested in hearing if anyone finds more special bottles of alcohol in their loot.

Perhaps you could try to be just a bit more constructive. Rather than just continually stating you hate the EM events on your shard, you could mention constructively what events you think work on other shards and why. You may want to consider Emailing with suggestions, or posting in their forums.

Well I havnt quit, and I feel the same way.
I feel like iv read this same post by you many times on many dif threads, its obviously somethng you feel very strongly about so take thunders advice and Send in an Email or PM to Mesanna and lodge a formal complaint and be done with it, if she reads it and does nothing then all the gripe in the world isnt gunna do you any good.

You might want to keep your thoughts to yourself about how I handle a complaint about the em program. I've spoken to mesanna about it already. I'm entitled to voice my opinion here. I've made many productive posts in the past that received a great deal of player backing as to simple but enjoyable event ideas.

Read up on the legends forums if you want to see some of my posts about ideas.

The bottom line is Legends EM hosts events with no imagination, they're poorly run and the EM deliberately excludes many players from the event. The EM program is not supposed to be some private club where a hand full of trammel players get free items and everyone else has to shut up and play another shard if they want to even experience em events let alone collect EM items for their homes.

Chicken fights, cow tipping, fishing.... These are not so much events as they are a means of exercising UO's random number generator. Legends has been left out on many great events that went to all or most of the other North American shards meanwhile one EM is flat out missing and the other continues to only host garbage.

I hear a lot about how we should shut up and be thankful we get anything from the crowd that is included in the awful legends events. We pay money, money which pays for live events to be in this game. It'd be nice if we got to attend one once in a while or got to go to events that weren't so bad that many players would rather see no events at all.

We get no events in felucca aside from those where people who play in felucca can't use their main characters there. We get no events with a story line. We get no events with any creativity whatsoever. Our EM publicly has stated he doesn't do, like and refuses to do real felucca events and that any of them are for the OTHER EM, yet nobody has seen Tashik in months.

Apparently much of the EMs overall across the shards haven't figured out how to run an event in felucca, meanwhile EM Nestor was able to do so with no problems whatsoever and had done it for a while. So are all of the other EMs willfully neglecting felucca events or are they so incapable of any creativity that to hold an event in felucca it can't be something idiotic like cow tipping?

My largely ignored suggestion on this matter, was for the EM of the shard (no matter what shard you are talking about at the moment) was to "Hire" one of the factions to guard the event. And have it understood up front for the Trammel players (yes I am one) that there is no "guarantee" of safety, only that a serious and conscious effort is being made. If the shard's larger faction is protecting against raiders, WITH the help of the event attendees, any raid should be able to be repelled. Not without some death, no, but hey, clean out your pack, insure your goods, and go have some fun with it.

As a Trammie, I enjoy group PvP, not worth much but a healer and maybe a shot once in a while, and totally respect the speed and skill of the PvP playstyle. Not saying I respect all the players, but I do respect their abilities. And yes, they pay the same as everyone else, so count me as one that thinks they should be included.

Blues, with protectors, doing events in Fel, sounds to me like something for everyone *grins*

But not sure any of the EMs would be interested in putting it together....

I have not entirely quit, I still have Luna houses on Cats, Chessy and ATL. I also have not disposed of my FEL Castles on Legends (to honor FAL, my Tram castle will fall should be a large payday for IDOCers on Legends). But back to the point you should try to be more constructive, your tone and demeaner lessen your comments.

While I have low opinion of a good percentage of those people who over the years have been apart of that and its predecessors sites, I still feel as though your comment here is very childish. If you want to turn informant, than do it by other means. You can easily report someone by email. Hell, I was given a warning for a joke which was directed at no one, shouldn't such accusations go against the stratics forum policy also?

Really man, grow up. You disagree with something someone has to say here and your response is this? Email your complaint to those who need to be involved and let them investigate. Allowing such statements will just open the floodgates to accusations against other posters, be they fact or fiction.

EM nestor on atl incorporated pvp into the event. Begin by assuming an event in fel will and necessarily should have pvp and you find that its very easy to account for fighting. If you create an event where you demand no pvp to occur in a pvp zone, you can pretty much expect it won't go over well with pvpers.

You'd be wrong anyways. And frankly, I resent the "whiner" tag you and someone else has been freely putting on me. I've been trying to show a major problem with UO, and it's been backed up with a steadily declining population, and an astounding drop in vendors, and yet you and this other friend have been slamming me to the ground with that tag.

Hell, look. There's a thread where two old timers are trying to come back, and players around here are elated to see it! 2! 2!
