We seem to have a number of people who seem to be having some issues finding what place UO holds their lives. Perhaps the game has moved on, perhaps it hasn't moved enough. Perhaps life has moved on, perhaps it hasn't moved enough. For whatever reason, we have people playing who are unhappy and people not playing who haven't let go of the boards. We're a small community here on stratics, yet we manage to represent pretty much the entire gambit of playstyles and personalities.
Anyway, I myself haven pretty quiet around here lately, despite the fact (or perhaps because of the fact) that I've been logged on more often than I can remember. I've been keeping to myself, living in my own imagination save for the comforting sight of characters running past every now and then.
Although I've not been doing much UO-related writing, I've been getting my little group of characters to a sort of chapter-end of their lives. I tend to role-play that each month of real time is a year for my characters, so my main account characters are getting a little grey and even my youngest character is now 24 years older than when it started and no longer a mere student (most noticably, all members of the Myth and Peace Lords are now, in fact, lords). So now, I find myself trying to find closure on their individual stories (so that new stories can begin).
Just thought I'd share what's interesting me these days.
