Couldn't get out once dead due to a crate that doesn't show in a passageway. still 7 in que




At a Town Hall meeting, when Silvani was still Head GM, she said there HAD to be a passageway to let ghosts out. There was a small crate blocking my exit from the room that has the stairs that leads to the sigil room.From my understanding, anything inside the faction bases are "whatever goes".
The Devs made comment on it some months ago.
If needed, I can sift through the months of posts since then and repost the comments made.
A shrine gem would have worked, but would have also defeated my purpose.The anything goes in a faction base and you must leave a path for ghosts to exit kind of contridicts each other. The rules as I understand them and they are also posted in the faction sticky is that inside the base there aren't any rules for blocking, outside the base you have to leave a path, and in dungeons your not allowed to block the exits with items, and one time a GM made us stop casting E-fields in front of the exit because it trapped ghosts (could have been a GM tired of getting pages from people crying about the mean people keeping them trapped in the dungeon as ghosts).
Being in factions, would't having a shrine gem on you solve the problem that you'r having?

I go with the UO/EA compromise.
It is probably illegal though GMs are told not to bother as it is faction pvp.
