those aren't stealables. they were easily picked up out of barrels.

So were the wires and horseshoes and forged metal. And rope is from Sea Serpents, and Paints and Brush's are from Artist NPCs.. none of it is stuff you actually steal.

Couldn't you just pick up the colored wire/horseshoes and forged metal too? It's been so long I forget...

they had some locations for pick up but the vast majority of locations were steal only.

Anything that spawned in barrels did not have to be "Stolen" via the Stealing skill. The wire, horseshoes and whatnot that spawned in Buc's Den smithy were in the barrels, thus could be picked up.

Nope, no Stealing needed to take things from barrels. Just pick them up like taking anything else out of a container.

i dont ever see those items in bucs den smith shop, where else do these spawn?

At bucs smith(from the two barrels)
If empty open to reset timer of 24-35min.
If you open before it respawns it resets.
Does not always spawn below items.

copper wire
gold wire
silver wire
forged metal
Reversed ingot
ore
smiths hammer
on table is fruit basket( eat/ take)
Also near the Baths on buc's is

Rocks
Back in the day to greif players peeps would fill with water and take the barrels.... no spawn till server up

and you're forgetting that the primary source of all of those things were in the lock boxes of every smith shop of the realm... the barrels were just for scrubs.

well some towns have them in gold boxes for the theif to have good items to steal side the crapy flowers but yes you could get from barrels till some dorko would fill the barrel with water then take the barrel the spawn in makeing the spawn stop lol

newbie training thieves did it because those scrubs didn't like the scrubs with no skill taking them that easy.

how long do these items take to respawn?
