Large aquarium bug

I have a large aquarium far from 3 years and it gives a reward about every 3 days and an event about every 7/10 days (i don' remember well).
Now it's a long time, about 2 months that no event comes.
The new events could be a new fish, coral, a dead fish or a simple phrase.
Is there a new bug?
Has someone that owns an aquarium noticed this strange and boring thing?

But why it suddenly happened after 3 years?
And what happens if i redeem the aquarium ?
The bug disappears?
