I have done many many chests and only found one of these lanterns. They seem to be more rare than the totems.

Yes and those are very rare.
I don't think mine had any mods but the cool name. Edit: just noticed yours doesn't have the cool name. Very weird. UO was drunk when it spawned yours.
I received a latern recently as well, mine I believe is only one stone though, with similar mods. I
picked up a black smith hammer in loot off a monster which says shadows on it and looks like a shadow runic hammer. First one of these I found, macing skill weapon.

I found one also, which I though had to be rare but wasn't real sure because I found it in the very next chest after finding my first ritual totem.
Too bad they aren't spell casting! Still they make for nice collectibles and deco.
Not a lantern, but an odd bug I ran into earlier:
Sometimes food items appear randomly in the chests (no idea why) but this time a turnip with no weight showing appeared in the box. Kept saying I couldn't pick it up, and attempting to steal it said it was too heavy. After d/clicking it to try and eat it, it instead turned into grass and retained it's heavy weight. Finally vanished with the box a few mins later.

Another strange thing I noticed was if you found chest inside shops, they usually contained items related to whatever kind of shop they were found in. The leather found within Tailor shops could face different directions though and weighed 11 stones per piece. I found 4 in total that were facing wrong directions.
@Neil Fallon of LS you can steal those in fel hide/leather shops

Ahhhh, makes sense. Do the Fel pieces have the odd weight also?

That's the same 2 directions I have that are odd weights. The fact that I have played this game for 25 years and still learning new things is a testament to its greatness.

ran into this 3 or 4 times with the Turnip turning into grasses during the last hidden chest portion of the event
