Anyone know if I can customize this style? I have the L-Shape by Brit bank on Great Lakes shard. I hate to drop one of the last houses in guard zone. This house has been there as longed as I have played but I don't like the shape or design.

test it out on test center.... go there , find a spot to place an L shape , then c what happens to it when u custome it, I know u can but then i think its just a rectangle shape

You cannot customize it.
AND
Since it is in the GUARDZONE you drop it you lose that spot, and CANNOT replace there. there is NO!!! placing in GuardZONE areas anymore.

Like Michelle said, it's an old grandfathered house .... since it is illegal to place a new house, you cannot alter it, without risk of losing it ...
