A gamemaster would come asking anyone whom made a UO guild with that abbrev. on any shards, to change it or they get their UO accts. banned.
Some abbrev. are no joking matter, even if kids joke on it. There was nothing scarier than some kids back in '84 asking my own 6 yr. old *white protestant son* to join the real KKK, with some fathers and sons down here in Mississippi.
I told him some history of the real KKK, which oddly is something one never figures ya needed to tell your own lil son about at the tender age of 6 or so, but that if those other boys in his class meant that KKK, of sons and their fathers, down here, that group was not the BoyScouts of America. I would never let him *join* up with them.
We were new residents down here '84, and it 'was' for the what remains of the orig. remains or rebirths, of the real sorta KKK, where we live down the road a bit from where MLK was assassinated in Memphis Tn.
It is a scary concept for a rl mom and dad to face, thinking their own young 6yr. old white protestant son, all new in the south, from up north, might get pressured via being beaten up or worse, at so young in age, for possibly for *NOT joining* up with them.
BTW he never joined, brave lad that he was, he listened to his parents.
Even I, would not like any game guilds, on any shards, to be abbrev'd KKK,
nor KGB !
I seldom if ever page for game guild abbrevs. I would page on any KKK guilds in game...too much of a rl ugly reputation, with that 1 abbrev. alone to be permitted to remain in a game world.
Just sayin' !
