Killer Pumpkin Hunting Best Practices

I've found that sending Killer Pumpkins to their demise is a bit tedious. However, by combining, using a necro in wraith form with wither - they go pretty quick. Zip zip!

Here is 4 at once...


Took on two more sets of three right after that... 7 masks out of 10. Not bad.

Good Grief Theo_GL .. are you in Haven or near Skara ? My Stealther gets dead felucca trees in Haven when working there .. otherwise I would think you were in Felucca. The only way you could get those things lined up and 6 at a time is that you get them attacking you all at the same time..and you survive that? Yikes! Great picture! The picture is in fel. There are a couple of spots with lots of fields so easy to pop and drag the killer pumpkins till you have a nice group to take out.

Its pretty easy to survive by staying ahead of the pack and casting wither (area spell). Really no chance of dying and with the mana leech from wraith form you lose no mana.

It's not Great Lakes...GL is home but I play 4-5 shards.

I hunt Catskills and I have to tell you that seeing four killers in the same screen is like seeing the Yeti and Nessy on the same day. I have camped Brit and Skara farms for at least 3-4 hours a day for the last four days and the spawn rate ranges from 30 minutes to close to an hour per Killer. *sighs*

Looks like Ocllo to me.

I seen 5-6 killa jackolanterns in the Ocllos that I visited yesterday just sitting there, ignored, 1 per field, or so.

I've repeatedly fought 3 at once, most often on one of the Britain plots, or in the Moonglow Wheat Field (which seems to be on overdrive, concerning pumpkin respawn timer, compared to the other fields). Typically, I can't completely clear the wheat field plots of smalls, as by the time I do, 6-12 more pumpkins have spawned, and I can't really get down to 0 for more than a second.

The fel brit fields were alive with pumpkins this morning. I've upped my record to 7. Incidentally got 3 masks and one was a Grimm Omen Plague mask which now completes my set of all 3 Grimm Omen masks.




Also to the person 'camping' the fields - are you just sitting there waiting or are you 'working' the fields to force a spawn? If you clear the pumkins then they respawn with chance of a killer pumpkin.

I was keeping the fields clear with my minion. I would sit at one field for about 4-5 minutes and then move on to another field and clear it as well.
